We need like a 2 hour long “behind the music” type special one day with every member that’s been in this band and go thru all the timeline like you did with this video. Very good interview I enjoyed it!
❤❤❤❤😊😊😊 amazing talented musician love max its really great to in his element of happiness talking about his passion for music 🎶 music 🎶 is the absolute best thing to help people though tough times in life and to always inspire us all whatever mood we are in
Ronnie’s lyrics also have far deeper meaning than Craig. What Craig means, he says. What Ronnie says, you have to peel three onions, layer by layer, and even then you still may not reach the fucking bottom of it. For someone who didn’t really do school, who lived the way he did, to become a modern day poet as he has is incredible.
I hope he is doing good i miss Max ❤ he is sooo talented his screaming an playing sooo amazing somthing I love to sit in silence an turn up to take every sec in. If he only new how much his part in escape the fate was to us ❤ Legend I need to hear the natural born killers songs !!!!!
Great interview! I love how everyone is referred to first and last nam but Ronnie is just Ronnie and everyone knows exactly who they’re talking about 😂 I love Max Green and I love that he’s doing so well now!!! His band is really good!
One of my favourite songs is Bury Me by VNB and Devil's Deal. Max's voice is awesome. I don't know if he doesn't have the confidence to front his band or if he feels others do a better job. I like his singing. New guy is pretty good, good range. Like Sanctuary - good tune! Thanks for the interview!
This was great to watch man, Max was the reason i picked up an instrument in 07 and i've been playing and following his career ever since. Hearing about what really went down and his mistreatment in ETF and then again when he returned was disappointing, they were giving him 5%? and then not even paying him when he came back? i would have left as well, it's ironic that their album at the time was called "Ungrateful" haha. Those guys have no idea what having him back in the band meant to the fans, me and my buddy drove from Toronto to Detroit to see them all play together again at the "Bury The Hatchet" tour. I really hope the dude continues to make music, the shit he's done on the EP, DIYLF and onwards is immortal to me.
@@richardmetalfan94 you should try to interview Monte Money next and really do a deep dive into the recording of Dying Is You’re Latest Fashion. I know he’d be interested because he’s recently been doing some “how it’s played” videos from that album.
When max started to say that craig shouldn't sing high i was like 😮 what now that is his signature move , higinia high note is 🔥 but i get it for etf what bit different and ronnie was young and his voice wasn't fully formed yet but the potential were there like max said now ..he got it , and sadly he lost even the hick up in words he had what i like ..and listening to how everything whent with the band everyone has their own story max felt betrayed, we don't kow how he was while being on drugs, was it hard to be around him ? We only know based on he got kicked out and remember he said to ronnie if you were sober u could stay in the band everyone did or say nasty things ..he kind tell the story that everyone has a problem with him and he is not the problem, but they all were not communicating and this is how they fell apart
Thank you Max Green for the True Story info. That Listen Up demo was so good! Better than the other version Ronnie released. Love hearing your stories man. ❤
Dude, that video of him passing out and Craig looking over, then continuing to sing and shit, told me all I needed to know about him as a person. I don’t care if your friend is on drugs, or pissed you off, or whatever. You don’t keep playing and watch your band mate literally die in front of you. For all the people who defended Craig because he knew what to say on camera, you’re a bad judge of character. For all of Ronnie and Max’s faults, they have good hearts and good intentions. Craig just seems like, deep down, a bad person. That was fucked up. That was beyond fucked actually. Ronnie never would’ve let that shit play out and at that moment, you realize who your real friends are.
would you consider interviewing Monty money? it seems no one from the old band likes him. i’m curious to hear his side, if he admits his wrong doing, or if he didn’t realize what he was doing
That’s why Ronnie is more popular than he’s ever been right now. People literally FEEL what he’s singing about. That cry scream sing he does in Popular Monster when talking about “every fucking day I get closer to the grave. I AM TERRIFIED” cut through my whole fucking being. Then you get into the trilogy, and in Losing My Life he begins with an almost sarcastic, fuck you tone, which ends in broken down tears of “please don’t mind me, I’m really trying, I just kill myself sometimes”. With Craig you just didn’t feel it. It’s almost like he was singing at you, and just singing the lyrics while feeling none of them. With Ronnie you can feel what he’s feeling, you can feel what he’s saying, and you relate to it. Add in the music production and video production he has now, if he puts out two more bangers, and maybe collab with someone like a Tech Nine, NF, or some other big name, he could be close to stadium level venues. Ronnie said, in 2014, that all music was sounding the same. No one was going to step out and really push the envelope to become that next iconic band. He is really close to doing that. I feel bad that Max isn’t involved because I know how pain killers can ruin lives and careers, and opportunities. Opportunities come once, sometimes twice, but if you miss the bus you miss the bus and there ain’t shit you can do. I’ve been the person to miss the bus and I know how it feels. I’m sure Max is content but with that bus being gone that he missed, if he is sober now, you know there are a ton of what-ifs almost daily.
I was looking up Falling In Reverse/old ETF videos and the algorithm recommended me your interview, funny enough. It's interesting to hear Max thinks the self titled ETF album was a mistake when that's my favorite album they've put out tied with their debut. I can definitely hear the resentment in his tone for what went down. Violent New Breed apparently broke up 2 months after this interview, btw. On a side note ETF is unrecognizable from how they were with Max and Monte. I saw them live in 2016 and they were TERRIBLE.
Don’t like how he talks about Monte getting greedy. At that point Monte was carrying the band. I think Max overstates his contribution to the band a lot. All the fan girls followed Ronnie and the guitar nerds stuck around because the intro to this war is ours. Monte deserved 70% and the other guys maybe each 10%. And it makes sense for his brother to be in the band. A lot more sense than whatever is happening now.
Ronnie have song about Max and singing infront of him and rubbing Max face about his successful in FIR, the way FIR music and works doesn't suit him well so he leave..And from what I know on that time Max already have Violent New Breed.
I read Ronnie's book and if I remember correctly, Ronnie was happy to have Max back. But Max lived his life very differently to Ronnie. It wasn't a good fit.
