I live in West Floral Park in a beautiful Mid-Century Modern home. This is a neighborhood where people know each other, help one another, host dinner parties, BBQ's, and happy hours often, gather several times a year for neighborhood-wide events, and have pride of ownership. Check out Floral Park's Home Tour in April and West Floral Park's Open Garden Day in May, to experience what our unique communities have to offer. Thanks for highlighting our great community, Monica!
Thank you so much for sharing all this! We will definitely be checking out both those events. It's truly a special neighborhood, I'm so glad to hear that you love it there! if you know of anyone looking to move into the area, please let me know!
I would say garden Grove and Westminster is ghetto and far worse. I was homeless in O. C before. Santa Ana is pretty crime filled but it is more built up than the other 2 places I mentioned. S. A has more potential than the other 2 places etc.
@@Gizm0_9 I live in Santa Ana it's the ghetto of OC. Homes are not cheap at all. People move here and wonder why fireworks and gunshots are a daily occurrence here. Plus the gangs are no help at all. Graffiti is an issue. I will give the city credit on that. Make a call and report it they are out next day. The high sales tax is no help. I shop out of the city as much as I can.
There are a lot of hidden gem neighborhoods in Santa Ana BUT you need to do your research.. So many beautiful old money neighborhoods north of 17th street... Need ranch style homes sprinkled around.. You probably want to put your kids into private schools like Mater Dei. It's been nice watching Santa Ana re-develop over the past few years, but there is more work to be done. Good luck
If u scared go to church boy😂 I love all the white folks moving here I stay in French park I be seeing em walk their dogs witout being scared unlike u If u scared of Santa Ana don’t move here mess wit the wrong mfs u will consider moving in less than a year 😂
Dang, developers trying to change Santana. Stop, no and don't. SANTANA will Always be hood aka 714 Culture. More of us then Developers and new buyers. Karen's not welcome!
Yeah Santa Ana is now gentrified and expensive. Investors buying property and making cost of living hell. Santa Ana use to be a bit better. Now, a bunch of hipsters and posers
Homes are not cheap at all. Even the neighborhood I live in. Most of the homes are north of 700k to 1.2 million. Good thing I bought my home over 20 years ago. I'll get a nice return on my investment when I retire.
@duckhunt1058 I'm sure 20 years ago the market wasn't as ridiculous as it is today. I know back in the 90s it was way cheaper and the market today makes it hard for anyone to buy a home. Keeps people from buying and renting instead
@@duckhunt1058 or is barely making it. The cost of living is getting to the point of pushing some people to live in their cars. U gotta be a lawyer, doctor, government, or other professional careers to afford to live comfortably.
@@robmadrigal714 that to. I talk to my dad about this and the mortgage payments are very high. Some are over 5k a month. Very expensive for what people pay here. Out of state I could buy a property with four rooms and some acreage to use. Here not at all.

Sadly investors are buying more property and making the city expensive to live. Greed is wild here
