I bought one of their Thunder reels about a year ago to put on a rod that I built. It was my first baitcaster. No issues so far, and it has been in saltwater also. For the price I couldn't be happier.
This reel is fantastic. I own one and it is phenomenal. I will never buy another brand again, the price is just too good and the product is fantastic. I can easily compare this reel in terms of quality with my $200 Shimano Curado. As much as I love Shimano, I won't buy another one of their reels knowing I can get 3 or 4 Piscifun reels for the same price. I highly recommend this reel. it casts really well, brake works well, drag is great. I've caught plenty of bass and pike on this and no issues at all.
Thanks Brother just got this 2 days ago read the reviews after I bought it yes I know you big dummy but the reviews on 3 of them said they had to oil the bearings and grease the gears should this be done at assembly of these reels doesn’t make sense to me to have to break this and do my own oiling and greasing you’re thoughts please thanks
Mine did the same. Out of the box I had about 20 sub par casts, then about 20 casts with a high pitched whining. After that initial break in it has been buttery smooth on every cast
Wish i wouldve known this before driving out to the river. Tried casting it like a spinning reel and instant birdsnest. But after watching some videos on tuning it i was casting great by day 2. You can really pin point your casts and i found it gets fish to the bank so much quicker.
I bought one of these a few weeks back and I get no backlash from it. I noticed the spool on the Piscifun is much lighter than the ones on my Lews and Shimano, and maybe that's why it's not as bad to backlash. I like it so much so far I bought another one for my daughter.

I received mine a few days ago,. Making a loud grinding noise when I cast,. Took it apart oiled it,still grinding,junk!

Piece of crap. Heard of nothing but problems with it. Lasted me about 3 trips. $10 reel for $ 40
You don't take care of your shit or got a bad egg. Mine is great and I've had it for over a year
