These are definitely some of the better genjis, but they’re all different.
Water is the smart player, who just plays the clean, textbook Genji focusing on small outplays. He holds strong angles, has good mechanics, just all round great.
Haksal is the Genji everyone wants to be. He gets huge blades, and he plays around getting blades up every fight. He’s probably the fastest and cleanest Genji with ult.
Whoru is arguably equally insane to Haksal, but different. Whoru likes to go in deep without blade, really playing around the combos within genjis kit. Whilst his blades aren’t as fast as the other two, he has great target priority and is very deliberate and precise with how he plays.
I think it’s hard to think of anyone I’d rank above these three tbh

Imo Haksal is the best, because he’s also getting massive blades against OWL teams. Most pros will tell you that it’s incredibly difficult to have a successful dragonblade against a pro team because there are so many ways to counter it, but Haksal consistently gets 3k/4K blades against the best players in the world

He is very good at baiting the enemy team (He slashes right above them and uses his 2nd jump like you can see in the clip zarya 180 gravs behind cause of the slash but it was bait) also very fast finishes but that goes on for any genji god.
Water played in t2 for a while, not sure if he still does
@@adhf158 Because no body can genji like haksal in owl. He can charge ult every single fight. He is the fastest ult charger. Other players' blade skills are equally good but not charging speed.
Now whoru and haksal are in the same team.

Water's deflect was honestly impressive, but he knew where all the players were. The accuracy of those flickss and the timings were really nice.
4:28 was more fortune than anything else. He bladed because it was the only way to hold point. He got six without nano, but there tanks were not getting healed due to his rein swinging at their supports, and then he just ran at the supports after who should not have been on that side of the point. It was more of a misposition by the enemy supports than anything, and his Ana saved his bacon through the entire exchange.
What isn't totally obvious, the enemy team is Super and I believe 2 other OWL players. That game was STACKED and he still got 6 to hold the point.

if you watch 100+ haksal Genji plays, you'll know haksal is at a total different level. His positioning, his use of reflection, and his game understanding are much better. Water and Whoru are extremely good, but haksal is definitely the best, both in rank games and in OWL. I remembered Haksal's duo games with Ryujehong, Derrek said "the only thing his team needs to do is let Jehong nano genji, and they win. "

I’m more impressed with the ones who can do damage outside of ult. I’m not saying it’s easy, but enemies closed together, with their skill they will get kills esp if other members are there to keep them occupied

He has a really low hero pool, he plays genji phara and maybe some hanzo and owl team are looking for player with insane hero pool that could play the 3 roles
Necros deserve to be in this montage for the same reason, i know he is "only" 4k2 but he is a genji otp and genji isn't really a good hero at the moment

Haksal is basically a genii one trick and he still destroys in the league. What are you talking about?
Genji is rarely ever played. Even if he is played, teams would prefer a flex dps who although may mot be as mechanically gifted as water on genji, knows how to play other heroes very well in case they have to shift comps during the match. E.g. Fleta, Eqo, Libero, etc.
On a side note, imo Architecht is top 3 most mechanically gifted genji player and happens to be insane at 90% of the dps positions.
Better than haksal? Haksal, who is to be believed to be the best genji in the entire owl? Better than whoru? Whoru, who rekt on the dream team of lunatic hai?
OWL isn't about skill level. Look at Dallas Fuel or Season 1 Shanghai LOL. OWL is all about who you know and who's willing to drop $30M on your team.
