    The intro is cool and well done. Leslie your enthusiasm, young fresh eyes, make your narration relatable and upbeat. Jordy great camera work, keeping up with your brother, getting the shots smoothly, you take pride in your work and it shows. The rapport you have with each other, is obvious, and endearing. Really your best work is together guys. Reverence for the property, seeing the beauty in the abandoned places, you never disappoint. I agree the decay was beyond five years. I expect your subscribers will only go up. This Italian trip has been amazing. Love and luck from Seattle. ;)

    That's a picture of Padre Pio, saint who had stigmata, famous for his many miracles and psychic abilities, at 14:39. He was an Italian monk and his father came to America to work so the family could send him to school and he could enter the monastery. Crowds came everyday for healing and miracles and it took the whole monastery just to handle the scheduling and logistics for people waiting to see him. Needless to say this aroused jealousy in certain quarters but it did not affect him--- he was steadfast in the faith!

    • @katiesmoozie7183
      @katiesmoozie7183 4 года назад +9

      Yes. Padre Pio had the stigmata - the same wounds as Christ had on the cross. He was a very holy man ! 😇

    • @angelous7774
      @angelous7774 4 года назад +3

      Praying to the Lord to open the eyes to of the blind. Only Jesus Son of God is worthy to carry the wounds.

    • @OnTheRiver66
      @OnTheRiver66 4 года назад +4

      Jesus has chosen only a very few very holy people over the centuries to share his wounds. St. Pio’s stigmata was shown to be miraculous, not faked in any way. They disappeared the day he died. 40 years after his death his body was found to be almost perfectly preserved, another sign of a very holy person. God has worked many miracles through Padre Pio.

    There were many lovely elements in this home. The owners must have been quite wealthy. The furniture in the first room you entered was amazing...leather chairs and sofa, marble tabletop, well-preserved upholstery on the chairs. Beautiful wood furniture in the cabinets and upstairs in the bedrooms. Thank you for taking us on this exploration.

    The craftsmanship required to build a home like this would be hard come by today, and priced astronomically. I love that you two show us the special details, and aren’t afraid to ask when you don’t know what an object is. We all learn a little bit more with each video you upload. I’m certain it is not at all as smooth running as you make it appear, but your abilities at filming, presenting, and narrating the things you see just keeps getting better. You are delightful, and never disappoint with your presentations. I’m happy to see you have been making them a bit longer this past six to eight months...I know it is a lot of work, but it was always the one thing I always hoped you would do. Thank you both for keeping it real...and stay safe out there.🖤🇨🇦

      Bros Of Decay I figured you must have to deal with things like that, but you didn’t give it away in your presentation, you are very natural in front of the camera, and have steadily grown in your on screen personality. I enjoy the way you use your hands to look and share, I wouldn’t be able to resist touching either...texture and shape are such a big part of beautiful things. Thanks for the behind the scenes story.🖤🇨🇦

    I thank you for showing so many lovely homes and palaces in Italy.
    My family on my dad's side of the family came from Melizzano, Italy My cousin went to Italy and found the family.
    My dad never lived to know just where his family lived. I understand it is a small village someplace near Naples.
    By seeing these homes it reminds me of how the homes must have been that my grandfather and family lived in. Grandpa owned much land before deciding to move to America.
    Thank you and your brother, for all you do to bring such lovely homes, from all over the world.
    I understand from my cousin, that families in Italy ( maybe other places too, do not know?) often allowed their children when grown to live in the homes too and they needed very larger homes for purposes like this, often. So one family told my cousin, as he took him to third floor, "this is yours and the family when they visit, and they can stay here" He could not believe this. They offered the top floor with furniture to him and anyone in the family who could go. But I can never go, but this is very nice to know. That can be why so many were so large too?

    Hi Lesley and Jordy, Bros of Decay, It was very pleasant to see you walking through this amazing villa of an Italian hunter. I sometimes had
    the feeling walking at your side, because you brought so much imagination into your narration. - Jordy did a very good work with his camera.
    Some details were really remarkable in that mansion, like the still nicely intact furniture and the some of the ceilings. - Of course I wished
    you would have used a second lamp to make everthing, what you were describing, a bit better visible. - But however great explore, which
    I loved watching. - I am looking forward to your next adventures. - Take care and stay safe. - Peace and lots of blessings. - Kindest regards.

    This is what I posted on my Facebook:
    When I was a little girl anytime we passed by an old, abandoned house I would want to go exploring in it. It was as if the house was calling out to me. One of them is still standing (barely) just past Shady Vale church of God.
    That desire to explore abandoned places has become a real thing I can watch on RUclips. It’s called “Urban Exploring.” My favorite people to watch is “Bros. Of. Decay.” They are brothers, Lesley and Jordy, from Belgium. Lesley leads the exploring, and Jordy records.
    These two guys are very respectful of the places they explore. They destroy nor steal anything. Lesley at times gets so overwhelmed with emotions over the beauty of the place, or the story of the place that he is often moved to tears.
    I want to encourage those of you who have always felt the desire to explore left-behind places, and left-behind memories to watch them. I’ve watched several groups, but they are by far the best. Check it out!

    Fantastic place. The "flowers" you saw in the vase downstairs looked like what we call in Canada "silver dollars".
