I don't think prismatic will be in pvp. Considering you have to farm with different elements to charge up to initiate prismatic. Then it's only temporary

Bungie did a good job when They rolled out strand in pvp. I don't see why they wouldn't be able to do the same, roll out a balanced new subclass

The idea is cool. But I feel like this is just going to make pure subclasses irrelevant. Why opt for gunslinger or voidwalker when you can just use this subclass yk? We’ll have to see how it plays out
Saying it now this subclass is the "jack of all trades and master of none" so there's probably gonna be to be a lack of certain capabilities using this subclass. And it's also clearly ability spam focused so there might be less power in the super itself traded off for more ability spam instead.
@@keithpierce5686 I hope so. It needs to be balanced in such a way where other subclasses can shine. Again, I think it’s going to make build crafting go crazy and it’ll be cool to blend. I’m excited for it in that respect. But another part of me likes the idea of maining a subclass. Kind of being known for it amongst friends and what not. Ik it’ll be busted at the start to get people to buy the expansion. Here’s hoping the exotic class item perks can also help with the pure subclasses
@@citiestoashif you looked at the Prismatic blog they posted yesterday, you’d see that only five supers and five aspects from every subclass are in there.
For example, Hunters can’t use Blade Barrage on Prismatic, so no Shards of Galanor builds. Warlocks don’t have Child of the Old Gods, so no Briarbinds builds. And Titans can’t use Sentinel Shield or Ward of Dawn in lieu of Twilight Arsenal, so no Doom Fang Pauldrons or anything.
Prismatic is limited in and of itself in order to keep the lone subclasses relevant and unique in their own way. Some speculate that this is beta-testing for merging all of the subclasses together in the future, brought on by the Craftening making the team realize that the game was sturdier than they first thought, but I’m not sure how to feel about that.
