Some have made distinctions about Power Trio drummers. Frank Farley was majestic, heroic, perfect. I saw the Pirates, backing Jerry Lee Lewis in the 60s, The combined talents were incredible. Mick Greene was an epic guitarist, Jonnny Spence a driving and talented, bass. Their like will never come again.
my brother had this on lp... finally I bought this on a second hand lp-sale...got the lp...but so good to see it here as well...lovlely...thank you very much
A great single. They did the first album at the height of punk rock - and then what do they do - they write a song that's relevant to the time of new wave and punk - and not a bad effort at all.
Its pie in the sky time We'll have a right time Listening to the man who's shouting the loudest Marx was a theory Brothers can you hear me Are we getting taken for a ride Hitler was an egotist People on his bum kist A verbal diaorrist The kiss of death The universal con man Doesnt really give a damm If the means justifies the end Its pie in the sky time We'll have a right time Listening to the man who's shouting the loudest
