    My brain can't take the intro drum pattern :OOO I'm just fucking mindblown

    • @theoneandonlyMoPS
      @theoneandonlyMoPS  3 года назад +6

      Actually the pattern itself is pretty straight forward if you focus on the ride cymbal as your quarter notes (feet and snare are dividing up the 12 8th note triplets per 4/4 bar). It's just the speed that throws you off haha. Had to slow it waaay down at first to make my brain get it.

    Hey man this is an amazing cover!!!
    Just a question. the intro part as well as all other times it occurs. What polyrhythm is the ride and snare in? is it just a really fast 4 3 polyrhythm?Any tips would be apprecieted. Amazing footwork btw!!!!

      @theoneandonlyMoPS  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for the kind words. It's like a 4:3 polyrhythm but the snare is slightly displaced.

    Great cover dude!! Really nice work! The intro is crazy good and you nailed it.
    Looking at your kit i got a question, with that many cymbals do you just need extra cables? Doest the module have connections for all?
    Gettin an edrum soon, wanted to know if it's easy to add 3/4 extra cymbals.
    Thank you!

      Hey, thanks man!
      Nope, it ain't all that easy to just add that many extra pads to any current (or past) roland e-drum module. Most of them just offer 1-2 extra Inputs. That's why I'm using two TD-9 modules to get all my inputs going. It's the last decent middle class module that offers both Midi-In & Midi-Out. So the second one goes into the midi-In port of the first one and then into a MIDI to USB interface . They send MIDI on two different channels which is triggering two separate instances of Superior Drummer in my DAW. Hope that kinda helps!

      @@theoneandonlyMoPS Two modules, one acting more as master the other sending into the master.
      Thanks man, it helps a lot to have an idea of what to do! 😀 Im getting the TD 27 module, dont know if that matters or not.
      One more question please, for fast double bass /power/thrash metal style of playing, which beater type you think does the least damage to the kick pad? I heard felt beaters is a no go, that it ruins the pad real quick.
      Im left handed too! 🤘🤘

      @@JFrancoDrums The TD-27 should work just fine, plus it supports all the newer technologies and you can expand it with another module if the 4 extra Inputs are not enough;)
      As for the kick pad I can't help you, because I've always been using the KT-10 Kick Triggers on my E-Drum because I really liked the feeling of them and they're pretty quiet.

      @@theoneandonlyMoPS Allright, for now i just want to add a crash a china and a splash so i should only need 3 extra inputs.
      Again thanks a lot man!

    • @theoneandonlyMoPS
      @theoneandonlyMoPS  3 года назад

      Thank you! It's basically a Roland TD-9KX Kit with a couple of upgrades and another TD-9 module to manage all the inputs.
