Thank you , I managed to unstuck my zipper by the help of this video. I pulled the stuck fabric from bottom of the zipper (from backwards=unzipping direction) and moved zipper backwards. 👍

This works! For the lazy. Pull the fabric stuck to the side but pinching it with two fingers and pulling. At the same time pull the zipper down. Took me like under a minute!

Thank you!! I wasn't really quite sure what I was supposed to do, but pulled the fabric in the direction shown a couple of times and it became free! I am now going to tack that area so the fabric doesn't get caught again!
I had a book bag that had fabric stuck like this. It’s heavy canvas so the material is strong. I took a needle nose pliers and pulled the fabric out sideways. I couldnt do it without the pliers but with the pliers it came out quite easy.
