Considering how many times the Packers beat the Lions for the Division and Playoff spot over the years, this win to knock Packers out of playoff hunt must've been absolutely incredible for Detroit and the fans
Lions just straight up went in like: “we ain’t goin to the playoffs but we sure as hell takin u with us” mad respect boys, lookin forward to seein u guys next season!
A shame that the Lions fell just short of the playoffs, but the fact they managed to finish with their first winning season since 2017, despite the 1-6 start this year, is a sign of good things to come in the future.
Nothing to be disappointed, even though they have been a disappointment over the years. I was actually cheering for them to win bc I hate Rodgers and the Packers and I'm not even a Lions fan.
Coaching got confidence now, players trust and feel it, Golf is jelling with the system finally so yeah they will be a whole ton better next year if they continue drafting well.
I say this as a Lions fan. It's disappointing that they didn't actually get in, but I am so incredibly proud of how they turned it around instead of just writing off the rest of the season after going down 1-6. They gave Lions fans a reason to cheer, and reason for optimism this year, and that's more than I can say about how they've been for most of my lifetime. And they managed to end the Packers season while at it. Next season should be a lot of fun if this was any indication. Go Lions!!!
I really wish the Seahawks had lost. Goff helping lead the Lions to becoming a very decent team really pleases me. I hope the entire city of Seattle sends Detroit a huge thank you.
It's incredible that they finished 9-8 with a kind of talent short team. Especially considering the years of struggling. Coaching is awesome at the Lions.
@ Spookbuster Stirner - Also as a Lions fan I wish I had your enthusiasm. 2011, 2014 and 2016 all years we made it to the playoffs and everyone predicted the best was yet to come. No such luck, just one year wonders.
I wasn't a Lions fan. I've always been Dolphins fan. I gotta say. There were times in the last two seasons, especially this season that I cared more about the Lions games than the Dolphins games. These Lions have made me a Lions fan. The fire that Dan Campbell brought to Detroit is awesome. Even from the days when he was the Miami coach, I thought, great coach!
I moved to Detroit area the 0-16 year...from New England, their 16-0 year lol Anyway, the point I was going to make is that the Lions are a deserving fan base and it would be nice to see the Lions make the playoffs someday
Vikings fan here, looking toward next year I will be more scared of the Lions than GB when we defend our Division title. In fact my pick to win the division right now would be Detroit.
Hopefully they can use this season as a springboard to make a real run at it in coming season. So many respectable players and coaches in the Lions org. Anzalone has to be a top 10 defensive player, or higher.
Congratulations Lions !!! My Dad passed away some years ago …. Dad was a big Lions fan…. He would have loved this season watching the Lions …. Go Lions !
Dan Campbell is hell of a coach his team finds out they miss the playoffs today and they still ball out and beat the Packers wow amazing motivator players love playing for him and it shows 💯
As an LA Rams, I apologize to the Lion's fans because my Rams couldn't pull off the victory against the Seahawks. You guys deserved to go for having heart and always grinding it out til the end of each game. Good luck next year. You guys have a bright future ahead of you.
Yeah you guys really screwed us. However; if the Lions had not played like a bunch of idiots vs the Seahawks; they wouldn't have been in this position in the first place.
@8:30 I liked that brief moment where they show Goff's reaction after Rogers threw that TD pass. He's starts nodding his head yes, like "alright game on." He didn't put his head down or look worried or upset . He looked like he was excited to get back out on the field and help his team retake the lead. He's improved so much this year. That Stafford trade worked out great for the Lions and for Goff too. I think quite a few QB's in this league would love to swap offenses with him. Great O-Line. Talent all over the place. Receivers are a multi threat. Running game is strong. Not to mention the Defense has been getting better with guys like Houston, Hutchinson, Kerby Joseph. Can't wait to see what they do next season.
Goff definitely earned his Lions QB1 position last year. The Ravens can keep Lamar Jackson (ESPN report saying Lions would be a good fit). I have been following and suffering with the Lions for nearly 60 years and I can honestly say that Hamp, Holmes and Campbell have truly created the strongest contending team during that time. IMHO, the team's key improvement in last year's 2nd half of the season, was our field position when the offense took over. The defense stopped the opponents deeper in their own territory thereby forcing punts to end up around our 30 (or better) instead of inside our 20.
Sean McVay was the reason he struggled at the end there. He’s a good coach but he has a Mike Martz type thing going on. He puts everything on the quarterback, passes to much, and doesn’t utilize player’s strengths.
@@60BloodyChamp60 yup, probably why he liked Stafford so much. Gunslinger, and Stafford's time in Detroit it was always on him to pull out clutch game winning drives.
@@Will-kl3tc when the coach and the qb suck it literally does make the owner and gm look bad. The owner hired the coach and the gm acquired the qb. So your comment doesn't make much sense
The lions have a top ten pick in the draft coming from the rams. There is a ton of reasons to be really excited going into next season. I'm a little worried about losing Aaron Glenn and Ben Johnson but other than that the sky is really the limit as far as talent wise. This team is not the same old lions, even during that losing streak they almost beat, Seattle and Minnesota, and most impressively they almost beat the eagles.
The Lions might not have made the playoffs but what they did in the second half of the season is nothing less than spectacular, and to end it by knocking the packers out of the playoffs is the icing on the cake 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Who's knows what the Lions might do this August , maybe they can start over their win streak & go to playoffs in 2024 , this is coming from a Steelers fan , i know i was upset when the Dolphins won but i hope that we could be dominant throughout the 2023 - 2024 season
@@todoplays6205 , if they would have just beat Seattle early in the season they’d be in.. heck if they would have beat anybody early in the season …😂😂😂, and hey as a Steelers fan did you think they were gonna have such a bad season, I sure didn’t expect that from the Steelers…✌🏼✌🏼
As a Seahawks fan the lions out of all teams helping us into the playoffs while also knocking out Rodgers who beat us In the playoffs a few years back in Lambeau was crazy
Even as a life long Bears fan one of my favorite teams was the Lions. I was actually happy when Stafford took them to the playoffs. Unfortunate that it was out of their control tonight but seeing the team have so much fun playing, I can’t remember the last time a Detroit team was this fun to watch From every NFC North team, thank you Lions and FTP
I live in northern Minnesota and I agree with you comment 100%. Very happy for Detroit. I think they will win the division next year, and it will not bother me a bit.
As a Lion fan, I am hoping for at least of few years of not having to defend our annual Thanksgiving day spot. Also hoping for a division title next year and a home playoff game, but a wild card is good too. Any year they are playing meaningful games in December (and January) is a good season in my book.
I think a lot of us cheer for other NFC North teams (minus GB) even if ours doesn't make the playoffs. I've been a Lions victim, er... fan since the Billy Sims era but I'll be cheering for the Vikings in the playoffs.
As a Dolphins fan, I am so happy for Dan Campbell. He was the interim coach for the Dolphis in 2015 and he got those guys to play for him. I thought he deserved a shot back then, but here he is with a young hungry team, and he doesn't coach scared. He coaches to win! Can't wait for next year.
I dont care how many times i watch this. I will never and i mean NEVER get tired of watching My Lions knock the Packers out of the playoffs here. And watching Rodgers heading back to the locker room looking like a little kid that was just told he couldnt play anymore today. Lol just freaking love it.
I'm right there with you my man I watch these lions highlights constantly its so addicting lol.. its a shame we didn't get in the playoffs we were robbed but im not gonna complain they dropped the ball against Seattle.. oh well I believe next season will be our year I'm truly excited to see what's in store for us
As a Packer fan I’m actually happy for you guys; happy that you finally have a team you can root for that can win. I imagine they’ll find a way to screw it up, as they always do because…well, they’re the Lions, but hey things are looking up right?
Been looking different ever since getting rid of Stafford. More heart. More determination. More victories. Everybody is happy for the Lions finally turning their culture around.
@@molonlave2193 it was a close game with the Seahawks I just remember it being a crazy shoot out. I'm sure it both teams played today would be different
It was truly a disappointment to miss out on the playoffs due to a loss to the Seahawks on day four, in an incredible game ended 48-45. From that moment the Lions have been incredible. But the time has come. Next year we go straight to the playoffs. With Campbell this team has improved considerably. Go Lions Go!!! From Italy
Or how about if we just did our jobs and beat Carolina, instead of getting embarrassed. I'm glad we took Green Bay out but there was some meat left on the bones this season.
Not even a Lions fan but this was beautiful. As a Rams fan, so happy for Goff. We kinda treated him like trash and this year was an f you to us and everyone else that wrote him off. They didn't make the playoffs but damn it feels like it. Congrats to the fans of Detroit. Y'all are coming in the next few years. Got the right coach and culture. And is finally building up the talent. Poetic Justice
Way to go Detroit, going into Lambeau and knocking the Packers out of the playoffs is huge. To start 1 and 6 but finish 9 and 8, and 5 and 1 in their division, with some tough, tough losses is amazing. Deserved to be in the playoffs and would of been a serious threat to whomever they played, way more so then Seattle. I am highly impressed with the Lions this year and will be rooting for them next season. Damn they came so close but fell just short, heartbreaking.
Sad to not make the playoffs, but what a season. The rollercoaster of going from 1-6 to 9-8 and delivering a winning record for the first time in a while was nuts. This team will be forever memorable. Can’t wait for next season. One Pride!
No we really aren't we came together at the end of the season and we showed that are depth pieces can step up when need be but we need to get better starters we can improve
That play by McNeil to make sure Tunyan didnt get near that ball during that fumble is one of the best plays of the game to me and more people need to talk about it. That is an extremely high IQ play by him.
I was heartbroken that the Lions missed the playoffs but seeing them go into Green Bay and knock the Packers out and wiping that smirk off Rodgers face brought me so much joy. I'm overly excited for next season. Go Seahawks #OnePride
As a hawks fan, I’m sorry that we knocked you guys out of the playoffs, I wish your team the best of luck next season and you guys will probably win the north.
I'm a Packers fan, but I've been less impressed by them this year so I figure we deserve to be edged out of the Play Offs. However, I've always been a closet Lions fan and have endured years of disappointment, so seeing them play as well as they have has been nice.
Even though the Lions missed the playoffs, they still looked so happy about their win, and they look very optismistic. I hope next year will lead them on a playoff run and they have a very bright future! But most importantly, they eliminated our rotten foes out the the playoffs! Coming from a Vikings fan
Hot take, that was the best lions win I’ve seen in the past 25 years, from a narrative standpoint. It wasn’t a playoff win, but to rip a playoff birth from the packers and SWEEP them for the season, drinking their tears is a nice change of pace
Congrats and well done Lions from a lifelong Vikings fan on beating our common enemy. I’d love to see them do well next season and make the playoffs - their fans deserve it.
Packers superiority for decades is hilarious cuz all of you other fans treat beating them like the Super Bowl😂 just such a sad sad fanbase you all have
@@N9ne_Talez You should be thanking them. The 49ers are a real team and would have humiliated you. I mean, it would not have been competitive. It would have gotten ugly. UGLY. The Packers are just...bad.

I’m a big Packer fan but you gotta give props to Dan Campbell’s squad. They were clearly better coached from an xo and a mental standpoint. Bright future for Detroit!

Im a lions fan living in wisconsin, and my entire family is packer fans. Let me tell you how great this felt when we won. My family was pissed off while i was celebrating 😂. I enjoyed every second of this. So proud of this team, ONE PRIDE!
Lions were really good at this game. They didn’t let Packers offense to score any more after that one TD. Their defense was amazing and I hope we’ll see lions as one of the contenders. Really happy for you guys.
@@Zack29810 As a Lions fan, I do think that yes it's a bit early to crown them as superbowl contenders, but I could see the Lions contending for playoffs in the coming years, especially if Brad Holmes continues to nail the draft, No. 6 and No. 18 picks, I'm excited to see where they go. Dan Campbell is my pick for Coach of the Year, but I know that either Brian Daboll or Nick Sirianni will win it and that's fine. The future is bright for the Detroit Lions.
I have no affiliation with the lions or Detroit, but man, they've really won me over this season. Such heart and hard work! So many games they were so close. Best wishes for the 23/24 season!
Same here, Garrett. Its just their heart and how they play for their HC Dan Campbell. Reminds me of my Pittsburgh Steelers and what my HC Mike Tomlin did to have us nearly make playoffs after a 1-7 start dude!!! Hats off to these *TITANS!!!*
Lions should be proud! What a season turn around. Excited to see the future of this team and congrats to Williams for breaking Barry’s single season rushing TD record.
Seahawks are only in the playoffs cuz of their hot start, they got off to a good start and then did nothing while detroit did the opposite of them, it’s an unfortunate set of circumstances that allowed seattle in
After all those heartbreaking losses early in dan campbell's coaching career I've been rooting hard for this man to break through and tonight was the culmination of that coming full circle with a winning record congratulations DC on a great year this franchise is definitely on the right track.
Chicago Bears fan here to say great job tonight Lions Thank you for defeating the Packers and knocking them out of the playoff hunt. You guys have really turned it around this season. It’s awesome even though I’m not a Lions fan but great game.
The Detroit Lions came in Lambeau field with nothing to lose and everything to gain, which is RESPECT! Chark and swift brought their A game! Salute and go LIONS!! 🦁
Chark is gone and we got Marvin Jones Jr back. I like Marvin Jones Jr but I wish we would have kept chark. But now we got Jameson Williams from the start of the season along Jones Jr and st brown with swift and Montgomery in the back field, I feel good about this season
@@aaronsanders6162 But thanks to the lions my Seahawks have a shot, they’ll probably get obliterated but I cheered so hard for Detroit and was more satisfied with their win than even the Seahawks win even though they were both required.
The fact that Rodgers last play of his career possibly was a throw for an interception resulting in a loss to the Lions, and being knocked out of the playoffs was the icing on the cake.

Highest props to the Lions. Knowing before the game started that they were eliminated from the playoffs, they played this game as if their life depended on it. I will never doubt a spoiler's motivation again.
I'm bummed that the Lions couldn't make it into the playoffs but I'm glad they played spoiler to Rodgers and his "i told you so" tour he would have went on. GG by them. Cambell deserves a bunch of credit for inspiring his team this season. Geoff has been great this last half of the season and the offense has some great weapons and are fun to watch. If they work on the defense this off season they might have a good chance to make it in next year.
I've said it once, twice and maybe like 4 times now, where Detroit is not my team I have to say they are one of the teams I love watching and pulling for in the NFL. These dudes let it all hang out each and every game and you're never going to get cheated out of effort, excitement and sheer emotional damage.. lol -- Love the culture this coach has instilled in this team and it's absolutely fantastic watching this group play and win games.
Never thought a game where the Lions had no chance at the playoffs would feel as sweet as this. Finish with winning record, 5-1 in division, sweeping the Packers with the second game being us knocking them out of the playoffs on their home field in the full cold of Lambeau Field. Yeah, we're feeling good going into this offseason
Not to mention our draft picks this year too since the Rams lost that gives us a better selection I believe we're gonna get stronger during this off-season

That was definitely not on Rodgers. The interception: yes, but he did his part. The Packers have the game away by not using their heads. It was one of the most undisciplined "performances" I've ever seen. If the Packers didn't have about 3 completely avoidable penalties: they would have won.
The Lions have a running back who leads the league in rushing touchdowns with 17😮that’s amazing 😁 I’m from Chicago and I’m a Bears fan, but I like what I’ve seen out of Detroit this year!
Ever since Dan Campbell got hired ive had a sore spot for the lions. Glad to see they've finally come out on top!! Got a good group of young guys and almost every time I see the lions go for a bold and risky play, it somehow usually pays off.
As a life time Lions fan, last night was the most excitement I have felt in a long time. Sunday Night Football, having a team that you can bet on to win (I did), then actually hanging tough and grinding out a win, against a team that was owned us for years, to kick them from the playoffs! Sad the season is over, but plenty of satisfaction from last night to carryover to next year.
The fourth quarter was the best. An absolutely strong close out. Not the usual punt it back and desperation defend all the way to :00 or more usually fold in the final minute. This team is legit, they will be competitive for awhile, with Goff or whoever under center. The right call on the next qb and they could be fun for a decade or so!
From a Packer fan. Congrats on beating us Detroit. You earned that winning record and I believe the future is bright for you guys going forward. As for my beloved Packers, how fitting that the potential final Rodgers throw as a Packer is the EXACT same way Favre ended his Packers career. We enter this offseason with uncertainty in the air.
@@astrotherapist I wish he would stay but he is almost 40 and doesnt want to take a pay cut like Brady did all these years to get better WRs and Tight ends around him to win and actually go far in the playoffs. He wants as much money as possible but to also win games, doesnt work like that when you lost all your good players and the packers ORG doesnt draft what they needed over the years. I think he's done now, if not then Jordan Love will leave and we will have wasted that 1st round pick for nothing and we will be stuck the next year when he does retire in the same spot only trying to trade up for a QB....
I was thinking the same thing. It was reminiscent of that punt Favre threw to the Giants so long ago. I’d like to say it was a good run with Rodgers, and it was by no means a bad run, but it was an underachieving run. So many bad, close losses in big games
As a long time Lions fan I can’t express how proud I am of this team! Whether we were 1-6 or getting booted out of the playoffs we never quit! We played our hearts out! Like MCDC said we’re either in or their out! The NFL audience missed out on watching the most entertaining team in the league!!! #OnePride 💪🦁💙

Always been pulling for the Lions for years, just something about them defines the NFL and the fact so many want to see them lose or count them out. Made me a fan and I can say they ended this season with a statement and that better things are to come. Congratulations to Campbell and the Pride.
People expect the lions to lose... because historically they've been bad. Nobody actively roots for them to lose tho lol. Besides packers, bears, vikings fans, but that's a given. I think most nfl fans like the lions because their coach is a Badass honestly.
I am really going to miss this particular Lions team. I hope in a few years I can come back to this comment and affirm that this was the team that started a really good run for the Lions where they get themselves into Super Bowl contention. I'd even be happy with some really promising playoff wins with a bright future. But I think this team will be an important point in the Lions organization where we look back and say this was where we changed the direction. "The 2022 Detroit Lions will be the team that can. And will"
I can’t help but just be happy for the Lions. I thought they were going to suffer from the Hard Knocks curse once again, but they most definitely redeemed themselves and the should be proud of what they accomplished. The coaches did a really good job overall and Goff also showed that he can do more than just his best impression of a robot. They’ve had some hard times, but they most definitely ended up as a fun and competitive team in the end. Keep up the good work.
So impressed the way the Lions came around this year. Waited so long to say I’m really proud of my Team. They worked as a team and there coach aways finds the good even when it isn’t so good. Cambell is a great coach who has given us all something to be proud of. Thank You LIONS!!!! Great Season
Lions are 5-1 in the division and 2-0 against the Pack. It has been a pleasure watching this winning record season with you all. Also Dan Campbell you're a Seahawk legend you crazy son of a gun!
As a Rams fan I'm glad to see Goff and Lions playing so well. I was hoping the Rams would win today to set up the Lion's control of their way to a playoff spot... the Lions did not disappoint.
That Panthers game really set them back but otherwise a winning season, an unexpected performance that you can be proud of and a future to look forward to. It's a great season for Lions 🍻
Should have benched Okudah before the Carolina game but I think Campbell was giving him one last chance to step up. It went poorly and he was a huge factor in the loss against the Panthers.
I'm not a Lions fan, but after watching their 2022 Hard Knocks and also being conscious of the fact that they've been a terrible organization for basically my entire young life, it's really satisfying to see them come this far. Dan Campbell has so much heart and you know he wants to win and he's probably got the toughest HC job in the NFL as the Lions' head coach. God bless them, they should hold their heads high after this.

Look at the Jags, they won 6 games total in the last 5 seasons, but this year they're in the playoffs and looking good, so are the Lions. This used to be Chicago's football style, with big backs and big linemen creating big holes for them to run through. Hopefully they can use this season as a springboard to make a real run at it in coming season. So many respectable players and coaches in the Lions org. Anzalone has to be a top 10 defensive player, or higher.

@@astrotherapist thx for having a brain
You're an LA Rams?
Great insights!!

Yea, Lions can't lose that once-in-a-lifetime 8-8 championship team. You can always count on them to win when it doesn't matter anymore.
Did not see this happening. Or people being able to question who got the better quarterback in the trade.
And the Packers mirror their QB. No personal responsibility.

@@detroitandclevelandfan5503 you guys could’ve well got 12-13 wins, you guys played hard this year if only the lions could’ve played like this in the beginning of the season. Have good draft picks this year to. Gonna be a scary team to face next year, much love💙
@@detroitandclevelandfan5503 Seahawks got help by us and the refs
I watch this video at least twice a week.
Aaron Rodgers never fails to disappoint.
He should thank the Lions for letting him avoid another beat down by the 9ers and early exit in the playoffs.
That was definitely not on Rodgers. The interception: yes, but he did his part. The Packers have the game away by not using their heads. It was one of the most undisciplined "performances" I've ever seen. If the Packers didn't have about 3 completely avoidable penalties: they would have won.
@@IMP3TIGO BINGO. Right on the head. Saved them from an absolute embarassment in SF like always.
The Lions have a running back who leads the league in rushing touchdowns with 17😮that’s amazing 😁 I’m from Chicago and I’m a Bears fan, but I like what I’ve seen out of Detroit this year!
Same. I’m a Bears fan but i was happy to see the Lions step up. I’d like to see a lions v browns super bowl someday.
@@rogersnare congratulations on a great season and getting the number one seed in the NFC
You really think Rodgers is gone? I think he comes back for one more year. He's too egotistical to go out a loser.
Your coach needs to instill some professionalism and class into your team.
Going after trainers trying to get to an injured player?
Bich a$$ move.
A 2 year contract worth $100 million is hard to walk away from.
It's hard not to like this Detroit team. MCDC has done a wonderful job bringing them back to life. I'm a Packers fan, but still... congrats on a winning season; things are looking good.
Vikings fan here - the Lions fan base is a base I love and respect. Man I wis ph this team was IN the playoffs. Sure hope the rise continues…. As much as it’s hard to root for the annoying at Vikings I feel Lions fans know pain on a level I can get.
What shocked me the most was the fact the despite the lions knowing good well they won’t make the postseason still played with more heart and passion then the packers
If you've watched a Dan Campbell coached team u wouldn't be surprised
Why would they play half assed when they have the chance to deny a rival the playoffs as well.
maybe by the end of the game but the packers defense was on fire. It’s just their offense that looked depressed.
@@moonmanstan Reduce chance of injury to have a better chance to win next year. Of course, I'm glad they didn't. It was a hell of a game.
It could’ve helped take pressure off them. Had they been playing for the playoffs they might have played more nervous
As a Vikings fan I approve of this game. Well done Lions.
Respect from Detroit, Viking bros

The lions just showed everyone their potential for next year. I’m a packers fan but it’s nice to see teams that have been doing bad do good like the lions did this year
Edit: At least the packers don’t have to go lose to the 49ers
There is no way a packers fan is actually happy about this 😂
We can also have potential with our receivers and if we start Jordan love 😏
Definitely a lions fan in disguise🥷

@@AllstarElite88 eh we were going to lose to CMC and the 9ers anyway. Rooting for these lions 🦁

Eh they still are the lions. But congrats on the win.
Just no, finishing 9-8 doesn't mean you're for real..... I doubt the Lions even make the playoffs next year.

As a dolphins fan all my life I wish I could give Detroit our playoff birth , they damn sure deserve it more than us, can't wait to hear yall roar next season
Always been pulling for the Lions for years, just something about them defines the NFL and the fact so many want to see them lose or count them out. Made me a fan and I can say they ended this season with a statement and that better things are to come. Congratulations to Campbell and the Pride.
U think so many want to see the Lions lose....I push back on that...they expect them to lose not WANT and I'm happy they knocked the Packers out
I agree, I find the Lions to be a loveable team
People expect the lions to lose... because historically they've been bad. Nobody actively roots for them to lose tho lol. Besides packers, bears, vikings fans, but that's a given. I think most nfl fans like the lions because their coach is a Badass honestly.
As a Seahawks fan. Thank you Detroit. Hope we see you in next year.
Good luck. You're gonna need it.

Good call bud. We made it. GO LIONS!!!
Even if we didn't make the playoffs this season, this is easily the most excited I've ever been about the future of this team.
Plus you have the #6 and #18 picks in upcoming draft. Shore up that defense and Lions should be multiple division winners over next five years.
Wish the lions could've made the playoffs 😭
Lions are 5-1 in the division and 2-0 against the Pack. It has been a pleasure watching this winning record season with you all.
Also Dan Campbell you're a Seahawk legend you crazy son of a gun!
The commanders beating the cowboys and the lions beating the packers this has been one hell of a week
IVE WATCHED THIS LIKE 20 TIMES IM SO HAPPY I LOVE THE DETROIT LIONS!!!!!
As a Rams fan I'm glad to see Goff and Lions playing so well. I was hoping the Rams would win today to set up the Lion's control of their way to a playoff spot... the Lions did not disappoint.
I think its more impressive that the Lions played very hard to win, knowing they wouldn't make playoffs. It shows they have a lot of heart
That Panthers game really set them back but otherwise a winning season, an unexpected performance that you can be proud of and a future to look forward to. It's a great season for Lions 🍻
No the first Minnesota was the back breaker, total giveaway by coaching staff.
@@miked8227 also the 48-45 loss to seattle
@@roryderosia6624I mean yeah, if just any of those really close early games went our way we wouldn’t be in this position
Should have benched Okudah before the Carolina game but I think Campbell was giving him one last chance to step up. It went poorly and he was a huge factor in the loss against the Panthers.
That panthers game was what we needed to get knocked down otherwise they lose this game to greenbay right or wrong?
12:32 play so good they had to play it twice 😂🔥
I'm not a Lions fan, but after watching their 2022 Hard Knocks and also being conscious of the fact that they've been a terrible organization for basically my entire young life, it's really satisfying to see them come this far. Dan Campbell has so much heart and you know he wants to win and he's probably got the toughest HC job in the NFL as the Lions' head coach. God bless them, they should hold their heads high after this.
Im older and they have been a terrible organization for decades. Im glad they did as well as they did.
god bless
The Detroit Lions "chewed Green Bay up!" They were like: "If we're not going to make it, then you guys are not going to make it."🦁

I'm actually glad Green Bay lost. Seeing the sequence of events that happened in the 4th quarter, good thing the Lions won that. Great finish for Detroit.

@Mike Bambur, it's depressing to be a Bears' fan these days, to the point where I'm starting to think about moving somewhere else, where people can use their brain. Look at the Jags, they won 6 games total in the last 5 seasons, but this year they're in the playoffs and looking good, so are the Lions. This used to be Chicago's football style, with big backs and big linemen creating big holes for them to run through. I don't even watch the Bears no damn more, just to avoid being depressed afterwards.
33 year Chiefs fan. Main. 3 year Lions fan. Alt. Best game of the season.
LOST VEGAS rule. The house always wins. NFL Has become a shadow of the game it was. Like America Greed and Manipulation has soiled the field.
This was a franchise defining win for the Lions. I think this is no longer SOL. They’re killing that narrative with Dan Campbell as their coach. They will be an absolute force next year and I hope they get more prime time games.
I as a packers fan belive it is the end of the packers 30 year long hegemony. While that by no means Packers are entering a dark age I belive a power struggle will take place between possibly everyone but more likely packers,Vikings and Lions
