I've been a lifelong Bengals fan. For over 20 years now. And I always will be. But this Lions team wowed me with their grit, with their heart, and with their tougher than tough attitude. It's a shame they didn't make it into the playoffs, but these Lions both last year and this year have made me a lifelong fan. Got the Hutchinson jersey and everything. I'm from Arizona but became a fan of the Lions late last year. After watching Hard Knocks this season, I became a believer in the coaches and the players. Even when they were losing early on, it was usually by 4 points or less. It was only a matter of time before they started winning those close games. What heart and determination they showed in their last 10 games. To finish the season winning 8 out of their last 10 games after losing 5 out of their first 6 games is simply incredible. There's no doubt in my mind that they will come back next year and make it to the playoffs. Go Lions!!!

Regardless of the stakes if this doesn't get you fired up for Lions football then I'm not sure what it takes. Hearing our longest tenured player who has seen his lions share of losing over the years get this fired up to play frankly gets me emotional. This city this team means everything to me and to see the coaches and players feel the same way brings a tear to my eye. From the owner down to the production team that puts out these videos and everyone in between I couldn't be prouder of the season we had. Good job men and I cannot wait till the 23 season begins

such a heads up play from Alim McNeills. He was a great pick by Brad Holmes - one of many. 2023 draft with two 1st rounders and two second rounders is going to vault this team to one of the top 5 teams in the NFC. Can't wait to see what kind of magic BH comes up with....

I was at this game in Green Bay, as a lifelong lions fan I couldn’t have picked a better game to be my first as it will be seen as the true turning point of this franchise.

lifelong vikings fan, i stumbled across Hard Knocks : Detroit Lions and have since then fallen in love with this team. I was very upset near the middle of the season after their loss to the Patriots. After putting up so many points the week before and then putting up a donut, it felt like "same old lions" but I kept watching the games. That W over the Packers and another W against the Bears jumpstarted them I think. The end of this season has been so special to watch. Go Lions

As a Lions fan I remember watching Billy Sims Lion's teams. Then to now best I've ever felt is now. Getting goosebumps and about to cry. They didn't even make the playoffs. So happy.
Yep - I remember Billy too. This season was so awesome, can’t wait until next year. And you know what? This season felt different than some of those other years when we got a little hope. There weren’t the dumb penalties or stupid mistakes that either doomed us or somehow we would overcome. This team was solid and I can’t ever remember thinking that. And I remember when Alex Karras was on the team.

So proud of this team. Disappointed the playoff hunt ended in Seattle, but to finish with a winning record and go 5-1 in the division is a special season nonetheless. Hope for the future certainly is high, and it's gonna be fun to see how loud the Lions can roar in the coming seasons.

You could tell that this game meant a lot to Decker after all those losing seasons to end with that winning record and feel damn good down the stretch. We had a chance to make the playoffs if we didnt lay an egg in CAR. It is what it is and we knew that 9-8 probably wasnt good enough when we got on that roll. Next year we coming for that NFC N title for the first time.

Had to watch this again. Man, I'm going to miss the energy that Jamaal brought to this team. I wish him well with his new team. Chark had some great catches and Swift made some really nice plays. Going to miss those guys too. I really hope that by keeping our core of lineman both on offense and defense, keeps this team together. No man on this team thought he was above that team. Let's hope that our new guys follow that same team philosophy.

this bears fan here, much respect to the lions, i never hated the lions. this team is def special, even some of the teams in years past you could see the heart and the fight, never gave up and similar to this years bears and the one a few years back when we went 5-11 where we lost a lot of close games, the lions were losing close games it sucks but it just shows no matter what the team didnt give up even if stylistically, roster wise or outmatched however they never gave up. I have to admit this lions team was the most exciting team this season to watch. not the team you wanted to see or the team to see in the playoffs, i do wish yall would have made it since da bears were not even close. that being said no matter next year if da bears dont do it and rep the North I hope to see the lions do it.
