    how can I use this without looping setInterval ? because I think this might get a multiple request a bit ?

      There is a way that uses web socket but that itself is an advanced topic.

      there are many ways to do, Ajax long polling, websocket, use comet library along with prototype js, using websocket is good but not all browsers support this technology. you can not create websockets on shared servers

    Page is reloading on every 2nd post request and works fine with first request (jQuery stops working i guess)...please tell the solution

    Just one question about showing the comment list. My professor said I MUST create a JSON or XML document as a response to the AJAX request. I did not see any JSON or XML in your code, could you explain it to me?

      It is a very good practice to use Json or XML as response. But Its not a rule. I myself use json for my projects. But this video was to let the viewers know that anything can used as response.

    Can we seprate the form of sending comments and the comments list, Each one in a different html page ?

      Sure.. in order to do that you dont need to use ajax and place the comment listing page separately in some other file
