    hello bill, my name is gisele from the mojave desert and you have saved my life! by that i mean the life of my new female veiled chameleon. my husband chopped down a tree and just before the chainsaw found her he saw her move and called me to go get her. she was near death im sure, she could hardly stand up almost black in color and skinny as a skeleton. i didnt know anything about them tried to feed her a strawberry HA! i have had her for 31 days now and i love her! not diggin the insect thing but she eats well so ill get use to it. she has come so far but i have so many questions still. I have before and now photos that i would like to show you if you are interested but not sure how, am assuming through e-mail anyways thanks to you and the academy

    Great video, I'm suddenly interested in chameleons so I'm at my research stage, more interested in Parson's Chameleons and was surprised you touched on specific questions I had about their looks. It would still be nice to have a full video like this for Parson's.

      Here is a video that is about Parson's Chameleons. Although it would be hard to match the content I have on Panther Chameleons!

    I have fondness for the Nosy Be locality. I would opt for that in a Panther chameleon since I have a Veiled chameleon.

    Hey Bill, Are there any differences in physical characteristics between the locals other than coloration?

    • @ChameleonAcademy
      @ChameleonAcademy  Год назад +2

      Not that I know of. There are genetic markers that allow differentiation so there is something going on there. But beyond that I do not know any other differences.

    I remember growing up seeing these bright red and white panther chameleons when I watched a documentary on Madagascar when I was younger, is there a particular locale that looks like that or is that only when they are upset

    You briefly mentioned Florida panthers and warned against them, but did not explain why they are a bad idea. You said wild caught chameleons have problems associated with them. Can you please elaborate on the Florida panther chameleon and what to watch out for?

    Hi Bill, do you sell chameleons, I would love to buy some, I live in Spring Hill FL If you don't sell them can you recommend me some one in Florida that does ?

    • @ChameleonAcademy
      @ChameleonAcademy  Год назад +2

      I do not sell chameleons. I have been very happy with the panthers I have received from Framschams, iPardalis, Kammerflage Kreations, and Chromatic. There are many other great breeders. Those are just the ones I have personally worked with. If you go with Framschams, the coupon code ACADEMY will get you $25 off.

      There are many locales I did not mention. (And Furcifer minor is not a panther chameleon). What is your interest in Nosy Borahas?
