Been playing 60 years...35 on various stages professionally ...won numerous awards...but this guy plays stuff I havent even dreamed of yet...met him at a "meet and greet" at one of his concerts and have taken his guitar workshop when he was in town...very nice, humble and talented man....IMHO hes the greatest in the US....thanks for the music Tommy...

So, of course if he believes the message of the Gospel of God's Grace and Love, found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, that Jesus died for our sins and was buried and on the third day rose again according to the scriptures, then Tommy will be in heaven! Grace is a wonderful and beautiful gift. I'm definitely looking forward to meeting Tommy there. As well as many others, which I'm sure believed on Jesus to be saved. This brought me to tears. The humanity in it, with the little imperfections and finger noise and him singing outloud what was in his head for just the one part spontaneously makes it impossible to replicate. AI can't do this. I WILL make it the next time you are in upstate NY!
What we just witnessed is the BEST guitar player living and otherwise. And one hell of a NICE guy!!! That performance was beautifully crafted and played to perfection. BRAVO as always Tommy!!! And when you think it couldn’t get any better he sings a few lyrics at the right time. Amazing!!! The funny thing is the people who watch these videos and go to his concerts (seen him five times) are all guitar players. And a lot of the guitar players are good. But when you look around the room and Tommy‘s playing everyone is just shaking their head in disbelief and smiling at the performance. Everybody feels better about themselves after seeing Tommy and we are lucky to have him at this moment in time!!! Enjoy the holidays Tommy and Happy New Year!!!

Wow, I remember seeing a video of Tommy playing this live and thinking how special and unique this approach is. You can truly hear the emotions of the song in each note (and when he softly sings behind his instrument). This is so very subtle and quite complex at the same time, which is the genius of the arrangement. It exposes the musician and IMHO takes courage to perform this way.
