- The Sturmpanzer II in War Thunder is a fan favourite and in this first part in the series, I take it to 6.7 to try and get the top spot in the team along with the Duck!
The Sturmpanzer is a VERY capable little machine that houses a 150mm cannon that lobs HE shells with 61mm of penetration. It also does MASSIVE overpressure damage. Enough even to destroy the mighty IS-2!
I love a Challenge in War Thunder and this one was an LITERAL blast!
The 15cm sIG 33 B Sfl in War Thunder has had many changes in names but it's still here and it's still dear to our hearts. German Tanks in War Thunder don't come much more quirky than this!

Tried playing germany at 5.3 and was suprised just how poorly german teams I was in were doing over all. I nearly ranked top place in the score board even though I rarely get to 5th place playing other nations
Good job though. Getting good teamwork is rough these days in wt
Sad but true. It's Germanys shiny BR range for WW2 tanks and people still get wrecked left and right.
But if you go above 8.3 German teams win all the time because things like the Puma and the Begliet exist and they're busted
Plus, it's funny how well german teams do, when they are alone and I don't know why.
hilariously enough i only do badly as them because im not being supported when i play my heavies and mediums for germany at that br it gets me fuckin clapped everytime cuz they are just so stupid to be honest and just hold w or sit and do nothing and then get clapped
I love how the two pieces of CARDBOARD on either side of the ammo compartment are sloped to increase thickness.

Here's an impossible challenge:
Get a nuke with a tier 1 lineup of your choice, or if you are completely mental - *only reserve vehicles*
(Obviously you need to uptier yourself with a nuke tier vehicle in your lineup)
I've seen someone get a nuke with a locust at 8.7, was kinda fun to watch.

I mean, I still suck as a player, but it's nice to know that I can kill other tanks, despite having a tank made out of papermache. 😅
For one it is really manuverable and it wil teach u a lot about the game and doing stupid shit, the funny thing is, u will get underestemated by things like t 34 or kv 1 although u can just upper front plate them

Yeah, some of my best games have been in thr T-34 and KV-1, I decided to go back to Germany and stop enjoying the Russian bias. 😜

Panther and tiger are really good but they get used wrong all the time
I main Germany, mainly because I am German myself, and I have to agree: we don't play this co-op multiplayer PvP game as a team. Like 90% of the time not and it hurts my feelings to see us have such bad tunnel vision. But ever since I got the Kugelblitz for some reason my team actually cooperates. Whenever I drive it ally planes lure enemy planes into my direction, it's especially effective when I'm lurking in the shadow of some woods
have to agree with you there. came from playing competitive fps games. and the lack of communication between players just makes me feel like im playing blind. each time i drive down a road i must feel cautious just because i dont know what could be hiding behind each house/rock/treeline/bush. and this video shows it too. how was a sturmpanzer even ALLOWED to stay at that same exact spot and get multiple kills, when in other games people would've pinged the map or at least communicated that there's a lurking sturmpanzer there and he would've gotten punished.i just hope that at least tanks with radios are able to see a spotted enemy through the map. that takes away the need for people to constantly chat or ping maps and then we can plan ahead on what to do knowing those vital enemy positions. either that or we start to use the chat box properly and start informing each other.
@@satriabagaskara4198 because we only win SL if we get KILLS, nothing else matters, i'd rather have 8 kills and lose than 1 and winning, the economy forces us to be as selfish as possible
@@AdrianOkay every game is like that. even competitive shooters rewards individual performances. its just some games people know that you win/lose as a team. and people generally just hate losing. so might as well work together. it feels like every game of WT i get into is a roll of dice. wether you win/lose is basically just rng. its one of the few things that turns me off from this game. grind simulator i guess. people are just there to grind. not to enjoy the games.

I watched this when the video came out, and as a result decided to download this game and play it for myself for the first time.
Of course, I went for german tanks to start off with, unlocked the sturmpanzer, and now it's most certainly my favorite tank.
I've been playing for a total of 15 or so hours, and I've definitely fallen in love with this title.

What does that have to do with console players? I bet most of them play on mouse and keyboard.

I’m the tiger 2 P in the 2nd game, I did fairly well but I got caught by an IS2 and went straight thru my turret front.
Please continue this kind of strats. It really highlights your skill in the game and it's amazing to watch. That double kill was incredible.

Thoroughly enjoying this series and looking forward to the continuation. Appreciate what you say about taking low ranks into teams of people grinding but I think most objections can be countered by your performance. If you're getting 2-3x the number of kills of the next guy on your team that says more about his ability than your taking a baby tank into battle.
This thing had two reload buffs this year and its one of my favorite tanks since day one. I have it aced and the stripe camo, can't wait to get back to my country after biz and cause more high br tears. I've had 6 man squads hunt me down after wrecking 4 in a row. The turn rate and maneuverability is better than most lower br tanks, lobbing from cover is hilarious whenthey stand still to wait for you to push out. Best fun. Very hard to master but once you do it's a ball. Absolute monster in AB.
One of my favorite derp lineups is on Sweden. L62 Anti-II, Strv m42 EH, Strv m41s2, Lago 1, and J-20 fighter. The thing is fast and can pull modern fighter jet level G's and get on enemy's tail before they realize, then two nose mounted 13.2mm machine guns to rip them apart. Great fun. Also, Sweden's 40mm SAPHEI is nutty good at low tier, and with the m41s2 being fast, decent armor, scouting, that sweet sweet APDS, it's just a joy to play. Also good for doing your dailies since the Anti-II is a rank 3.
J-20 gets 50 cals, not the 13.2. It's just an Italian boi, but in the swedish tech tree

An incredible example of the fact that rank doesn't matter, it's size (of the gun, obviously) that really matters

If ya want a challenge, I’ve occasionally been bringing the M2A2 in my 7.3 lineup. Been trying te get an ace but my record is 4 kills.

It can also kill the 76-57, which is a glouries thing to do.

Why does big HE never does this when I try it? I usually just track them and you kill them even when you hit the thickest armor plates.

Yeah I hate these guys because they are deadly. I get sick of teammates bringing it trivial tanks to try get stunt kills when their skill level is not up to it. Your skill level makes most tanks seem OP. Love your work.

I get the same with Germany teams. Usually go in the beetle to scout points peacefully for duck or higher br planes, and I end up #1 with some scouts and few air kills.

At 9.0 grind got too hard so never have enjoyed it

Definitely push this to higher BRs if you enjoy it, you should take a derpy AA like the 6/2 milk truck as a just in case so you can actually do something about aircraft instead of just praying you don't get seen or throwing your duck into a wall of fighters

i saw today in low tier Air rb (br. 2.7) on the german team a AI Hummel arty tank. idk why it isn't yet ingame if they have them for the Ai vehicle.

When I play games like this, I get concerend when I'm at the top, cause it usually means my team are pretty bad haha
My 2 cents , Open the gear land of the duck and destroy it by diving shortly. It will save you a lot of energy and aim it in the Virtual cockpit for extra accuracy.
1:05 i know what it is, its an immediate callout followed by every artillery plane shell and MG on the map.
I don't have the Sturmie yet, since it got added to the tech tree after I was already done with low tier Germany, but I DO have the Ho-Ro...
I know how it feels to just disintegrate anything that doesn't have more then 50mm armour.
Also I think the Sturmie probably has the better gun, but the Ho-Ro is better when front-facing enemies at taking lmg fire, giving it more survivability (also gets a lmg of its own to pew-pew some planes if its lucky)
