- #cjmowing Some folks reached out to us about this abandoned corner property. We took a look around the overgrown property and quickly realized that the home had been vandalized, occupied by squatters or possibly both. This free lawn clean up is one of our biggest yet, mostly due to the overgrowth in the backyard as well as the amount of sticks and branches that have fallen all over this overgrown property.

Farmers do not wear masks. Wearing a mask cuts down on oxygen, which is essential for good health.
Another satisfying one in the books. I love that you remove yard waste regardless of whether someone lives there or not. You hold true to making full yard transformation videos.
That's one of the things I really love about them. So many of the other lawn care channels just mow and go. The fact that these two go beyond what others do is because of their amazing work ethic and integrity. Even if it's an abandoned property, they treat the job as if they were getting paid by the property owner.

I agree with you on that. And they both need safety glasses so that dust and grass, etc..., doesn't get in their eyes. I get that it's hot hard work, but as one with COPD in my old age, do all you can to do to prevent health issues in the future. Back braces too for the hard work will catch up with them one day. Whoever thought up the term, "golden years" must have been loaded with gold because they surely aren't talking about aging!

Casey, you are definitely a man of my heart. I absolutely hate seeing trash everywhere. Even on garbage days, I pick up whatever the wind blows down the street. Yes, I'm the neighbor that cleans up! 2nd pet peeve is cigarette butts. I'm a former smoker, and I would extinguish the smoke, and put it in my pocket to dispose of later. If I remembered!! The neighbors need to contact the owner, then the city. Every vacant house needs a family.
I still occasionally see where someone has dumped their over-full car ashtray in parking lots.

Respect peoples choices. When you cut the lawn, wear a mask but don't expect others to do the same. We Respect your choice therefore, respect ours. ( If I get sick because of my choice I am willing to accept that consequence. ) BUT I do not think it is good to breath in all that carbon dioxide or germs from condensation. Everyone has job hazards in thier profession it is the cost or working.

Good afternoon everyone. Go to city hall & look up on the registry and see who owns the house. Send them a letter and let them know what's going on with their property. That way they can do something about it. Just my opinion. Great job guys!!! Peace and Blessings!!!
I live in Florida and lots and lots of homes here have been bought up by investors. They buy them to flip for profit but also to rent . So many of them sit for month on end with no outside maintenance . And NO lawn care. I don’t understand why the county code inspectors are not violating them. It’s not fair to homeowners who do take care of theirs because it brings down their property values. And the county could collect more fines that would help pay county funds.

I love watching your videos. There is one thing I'm concerned about though. When you and your mother are weed eating and mowing you are throwing up ALOT of dust, and neither one of you are wearing masks. You could get very sick breathing in all that dust and dirt into your lungs.

As we can see most people in general and lawn care businesses don't tackle these horrific jobs it's just to much to do at this point for most people.
Hard to believe the owner and all owners of these homes like this that go abandoned and uncared for let the house and property fall to idiots who vandalize it and homeless people who destroy their profit in the home.
Why does this happen so much? It makes zero sense. Either sell it as homes are needed in all areas for people we have a housing crisis going on in our world.
Florida is a excellent place to rent as well and people are still moving to Florida live so to let this home go to a state of disrepair and a lot money to fix it probably is foolishness.
I don't understand this at all plus these owners are paying taxes as well. It's just stupidity in my opinion and just so easy and profitable to just sell these homes if you know you are not interested in them and have moved away or whatever the issue is with you not taking care in the property anymore.
Anyway I appreciate you both and you are a inspiration for everyone to see the good in people who help others and the community who have no reason really to do all the hard work like this❤🎉😊

Always good to see the two of you having a good time sharing anecdotes and just being honest and happy with us viewers, something to consider, go to the tax office at the courthouse, most times they can get a valid phone number for a out of state home owner, or if the property is actually abandoned and it's behind on taxes it can be "purchased" for the amount owed by the previous owner,
With all that dirt blowing around when you mowe you both need dust masks to help both of you from breathing in all that dirt...

It's a shame the homeowner has just let the house go for 7 yrs. Maybe now that you two have cleaned up the outside so nice someone will be interested in buying it. I hate littering also. Trish, this video makes me so much happier! You have long sleeves & gloves on! Now if we can just get you to wear a mask or even a gaitor to protect your lungs. Whenever hear snakes, I ALWAYS wore boots where snakes or spiders were around, & velcro straps around the ankles of my pants if I couldn't tuck them in my boots! Nobody wants unwanted visitors. When I was in my early 30s, I used to wear shorts & flip flops to mow. After a bad brown recluse bite & an unexpected meeting between my self propelled mower & a hefty nest of ground bees, lets just say lessons learned! 😂😂😂

Just curious. Why does every there have a water well on their property? Is there no city water. Just asking.
Not everyone has a well. So, if you live in a city area they are on city maintained water and usually have a water bill. If you are not in the city limits, a well pump will be needed to pump water into a home by drilling a pipe down into the earth into an underground aquifer. Not all water is good either, be it by city or pump and well. Filtration systems either way may be necessary depending on the area. City means water bill. Well/pump is charged to the electric bill and maintenance is on the owner.
