KSHMR is the proof EDM isn't just random beats put together. This guy takes his art seriously and that's what makes him a real producer. 👌🏽👌🏽
Ricky Guerrero Z. Who doesn’t take it seriously
@@MiloMcCarthyMusic Yeah even if DVLM's music sounds generic they still know what they're doing
@@MiloMcCarthyMusic All people who listen to classical music.
Chakraborty. B that makes literally no sense we are talking about music creators. What is your point? Are you saying that classical music composers don’t care about their craft?
@@MiloMcCarthyMusic i meant all the people who listen to classical music (like my mom) thinks its just 1 drum, 1 lead, some chords and a bass, eith just random notes on a computer. they think its easy to make.
Great lesson!!! So many great ideas in such a short time.
Unity... forever!
i love windfall!

Kaskobi i wondered how you made that dharma remake...
Hey, it's Kaskobi!
Awesome!
K-391 hey, 🤗
Love your music (y)
you are the real great Pro,fuck Alan walker
@@larrymarsher2918 Why you say like that. Dont judge alan walker has ghostproducer because that future music video
Best producers are always inspired by Kshmr!
Very nice :) KSHMR always making great efforts for the community. Now I wanna go make some great bangers :D
It's Arcade!!!
Its arcade
It's arcade
It's Arcade
It's Arcade!!
dude... that fucking lead call and response thing is fucking incredible. I've never thought of laying out my leads like that. Can't wait to give it a go.
Hearing Colours IKR when I saw that part I was like Jesus Christ this guy’s understanding of music is like at a whole new level
That 4th layer lead made that beat take off!!! Good job!
We need a mastering lesson by kshmr! That would be great!
It's better to keep the lessons more on the creative side, than technical. Either way, we can learn from him by observing his EQ moves, etc. I already learned a ton and improved dramatically by just observing his settings. It's more important to educate us on the creative side of things, like he did with melody, bassline and generally how to make an impact with your drop. He's too good on the arrangement that he needs little things on the mastering. Try his settings and just use a simple compressor on the master, with simple limiter.
SOKRVT I think I'm pretty good with melodies. I was very interested in learning his processing and plug in chains.
SadkoEU any tracks u made is released
mixing is when it is important. focus on mixing before mastering. a master cannot fix any problems! mastering only enhances and adds the final touch to the track. the mixing, eqing, and compression is important! i am into edm and i do mixing and mastering too. i have learned that good eq and good compression is key. i will give you one tip: try OTT compressor, it is really good
I don’t think he masters himself
Tip #1 For A Powerful Drop: Put White Noise.
sarcastic
No actual, this is real. White noice adds SO much to the drop. Trust me, Your listener's focus is shifted to the white noise, and you can do intresting thigs with that. Personally, I like to add a bit of white noise when my claps play, add a lot.
and riser
High impact?
Yes, You are Right Thanks!
This was not only a helpful but also filled with Knowledge regarding music. I Really appreciate Thanks again KSHMR BHAI🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
How creative is this guy? Really amazing how he creates all that motion with all those really creative little things, really useful Niels, it makes you think what amazing and creative things you can really do with a bunch of sounds and basic processing instead of trying to add innecesary complexity everywhere, thanks!
Best Part : Keep things interesting
David Guetta after watching this be like...
"WTF, this also happens in EDM"
I ROFL for like 5 Mins
Replace That With Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike
rishu2212 dvlm too
rishu2212 LOL😝😝
you are indian shut the fuck up
I remember how I had downloaded this video and used to watch it again and again on my TV 3 years ago when I was a beginner.
I learned more of how music production works in 10 minutes here, than I ever have in my whole lifetime before it. The narration is pin point articulate. 5 tera star tutorial,,,,,.
this was so much needed .......learning from the king himself .....thanq so so much KSHMR & Thanq so much Splice
2 min silence for those who thinks EDM production is easy like pause and play😛
it is
ashish menkal hahaa that's true..only DAW user know, how hard it is
lmao show us your music then, your shit better sound absolutely amazing since its so "easy"
Dude, bigroom is easy af compared to other subgenres of edm like dubstep. The sounddesign in bigroom is just no. You could get aways easily by just picking presets.
Rosh Parmar Where can we hear this music you make?
That Main Lead is CLEAN AF!
Really love the tips about reinforcing melody with rythym
I'm a hip-hop/R&B producer and some of the stuff you're showcasing could sit just as easily in other genres - thanks for the great ideas, looking forward to experimenting with these!
This makes more sense the more you advance into the craft. I returned every once in a while and still learning.
That was a good video
Great tutorial! KSHMR is one of the best producers i've seen in EDM. Really creative.
Agreed =)
Many people say that the basic effects are weak ... use only external. KSHMR proves that is lie :)
The Quality of your plugins has the lowest impact on the quality of your music.
GeneralQ i disagree with this statement, neither i like that the focus is on the plugins. look at it like a tool with which you can craft something, depends on the skill of yours.
Nikola Ristic I didn't say it has no impact. But it's not significant in contrast to the difference your composing, soundesign and mixing skills will make. In the hands of a good producer 99% of all people that listens to music won't be able to tell the difference between a 200$ plugin and a free one
the workflow at a DAW is from Digital Audio to sounding Analog Audio by using EQ, Compression and Saturation. effect are working around that.

No se vale, usa samples de KSHMR :v
Necesita clapsitos bebes de grge
Mr. AwkwarD no te olvides de los crash bandicuts
GRGE se olvido de los clapssitos bebeshitos
Ste men :v
Para que suene mejor necesita de Chitita
What makes him special is that he focuses way way more on the actual arrangement of the song unlike some other producers , who only talk about what plugins they use and stuff...
Awesome to see a real master producer @work. A real inspiration for aspiring music producers. Well presented and very detailed. Keep doing what you have a huge passion 4 and in your case are very good @KSHMR
Gonna send this to the next person to ask me why my songs take so long to make
yo kshmr i just want u to know that u r my inspiration like for real you the one that inspires me in all the things that you do
This video is amazing. Your explanation of the different elements of the track is so professional
Dang, I never would have thought to use that call and response layering trick. That's dope.
This isn't anything like the music I make (psychedelic guitar-based pop rock) or even listen to but I like to look at how different artists across genres create and produce. KSHMR is seriously one of the better teachers I've come across, really clear and direct. This is pure gold for any EDM artists out there and gives me a lot more insight into the thought and theory behind this kind of music. Super chill dude, thanks for sharing!
The people with the longest careers in the music industry learn how to do it on purpose - Savan Kotecha
KSHMR shows this is true.
I started today and it would be awesome if I made something like this in future.
Thankyou so much kshmr.
You will. Just practice, try different genres and watch tutorials. 💪🔥🔥
Woow, I'm impressed of KSHMR, he is explainin it all live, just look at the time! he doesnt need cuts!
I love how these tutorials aren't, "Here's how I made this sound, guys... k, bye." like a lot of tutorials, (and I have watched a very, very great many) but instead is like, "Here is how to convey this FEELING, and here is how I make this non-specific element work into my mix, and if you need some examples on how you could use this elsewhere, try X Y and Z," and it's really lovely to have that kind of insight. Tutorials done right, for certain!~
I m using FL but the lesson of kshmr is the best way to learn....he is really great... he is my real teacher for producing class.. he is the best.
I dare you to watch and finish a full tutorial by Carnage after this :) . Props to KSHMR , he's the Mozzart of EDM in my opinion :) .
You have answered more questions than anyone has in less than 10 minutes. Half of these producers on RUclips cant explain shit..... THANK YOU!!!
here for his voice 💕❤️

Fantastic song and an amazing breakdown! Thanks a million for this ;)
The reverb automation trick was very cool. Nice one
All these tutorials are must to watch! Great music tips for EDM producers
KSHMR needs to do a masterclass
the more I learn from lessons like this, the more I realize there's a certain sense of "psychology" implemented into music when speaking of the intent of one of the parts of a song. Brilliant.
Well done. Everything in this video was prime..tutorial, editing, voiceover etc
Seeing the anatomy of a professional track really helped me alot! Thanks!
mixing and mastering video please
thanks for everything kshmr

Awesome! Great tutorial :) Love how you really explain every part in a detailed way and how with you work with the automation. Keep em coming.
the only producer who doesnt act like a fucking tool... and shows his tricks. I dont listen to your music but you seem like a good guy
One of the best Explained Turorials i ´ve ever watched. You need to do more stuff like this @KSHMR.
Big props. Even while you're on top, you bring everybody up with you. This will create a significant pool of supporters. I will find a way to support.
I do believe that, if you're truly talented in EDM, this lesson just told you stuff you already knew, but didn't know how to put into words. And KSHMR did that perfectly :)
Brilliant tutorial, Insane Melody on this track.
Just when I thought I could be banging out tunes within six months, I run across your technical bombardment of insanity & mayhem. Great work. Looks like I'll be in the bedroom for a few more years yet !!!
KSHMR is like the master oogway of edm
10:36 "and I'm the best" - You sure are KSHMR!

big big big fan of yours kshmr .. i follow your work and try to implement in my music production... a big salute to you !! love from india .. you've taken indian music to whole new level !! respect
The good thing is that if you can't produce great EDM songs then at least you can hear too. great EDM songs are still produced. Hail to KSHMR.
a many tricks to learn. KSHMR is a really top producer
This is amazing!!! So much work and method concentrated into a small section of music. Thank you for breaking it down!!!!
I getting goosebumps by learning from this Tutorial. Thank you Mr. Hollowell-Dhar :)
Thanks to Kshmr and all the producers that are helping new producers improve their music skills, this is just what i wanted to see, the kick and the bass, THANKS GOD FOR MAKING ME FIND THIS VIDEO.
Much love and respect to KSHMR for sharing this
Love how he explains!! Best tutorial!
Thank you so much for your amazing videos!!! I have learned so much!!! 😎
That's how legend works
Whaaaat...But Headhunterz used another DAW!
So?
LoLchilled09 So how did they make track together, using different DAWs?? Like project file? And other stuff? Like MIDIs, Samples, Presets: Effects and Generators?
+MegaDaxter they bounce the midi to an audio file (.wav) and then send that to each other. Also, just sitting behind one computer works
LoLchilled09 if they really did, it's very weird, cuz if you want to change the sound? You couldn't, cuz you have audio file, not synth
HH use Studio One and ableton, KSHMR is using ableton, and they can collaborate cuz one, in this case Hunterz, is just sit listening and like helping KSHMR
Thanks, you just gave me the sauce of many professional lo-fi producers out there.
KSHMR you are a fucking god. Seriously! Best producer I've came across brother
I've learned more from the first 3 videos in this series than in the last year of youtube tutorials combined.
