I'm using an RTX 3080, 3600mhz 32gb ram, intel i9-11900k, on performance mode and my fps in battle royale is nowhere near this, when I'm fighting it's 170-200, when I'm not it's 220-240 (I cap it at 240 because of my monitor but even then it rarely exceeds that). My temps are usually peaking around 70 Celsius, I've got no clue what's wrong.
That seems pretty weird… Have you had someone check your pc? Like a computer technician or somebody? Or maybe it could be your pc has a lot of bloatware.
@@Mxgicfv Nah, I've not had anyone look at it. The reason the temps are so high is probably because I have a heater in my room since it gets pretty cold in the winter, but even then, would that really cause the low fps at 70?
@@Mxgicfv a couple of months back it blue screened and my windows files got corrupted so I had to reinstall it and reset that drive, so I doubt there's much bloatware on it. I might just reset the other drive as well to see if that does anything.

@@Watermelon_Cat1909 The 3080 can certainly pair better with a higher end processor. However, the ryzen 5 5600x is still a powerful cpu for the 3080. I would say any processor paired with a gpu faster than a 3080 will start causing some bottlenecks.
