haahahaha! to ride bikes like a pro you need to be fit as a soldier, no jokes. so go and ride to the park get some calisthenics done eat good not coke and fry chicken... sleep, drink plenty water and the most important ride the bike and have fun! don´t let the bike take you to a ride. if we are not mentally physically fit like a pro, we wont be able to make it, BUT if you see your self as a pro and you know you could get there whit some help YOU WILL GET THERE I got 190 days riding and it is very nice too start doing wht you wht to actually do 😉😎 I haven´t practice much crazy stuff because I does not have a healmet as jet, as I get one... Bro I will start getting the manual and welies bunny hoops etc. you need legs protection, I home made mine and it´s just so cool.
I tried the jumping off rollers and totally stacked it grated elbow and busted shoulder...Will go and practice these basic skills before I get too cocky again. Brilliant videos keep it up.
Just two mates having a bit of fun in a carpark. I know you've done this type of video before, but I think that this is the best version you've done so far.
Video Suggestion : A riding day/weekend in the life of presenter here. Right from setting up their bike, pre-ride checks, getting ready, riding some place, post-ride maintenance and end.
I’ve been practicing wheelies and manuals in my basement. I suck at both! Weather is improving so I’ll be playing around outside soon. Thanks for the video
Thanks, for sharing...but please explain in detail how to do the wheelie and other biking techniques....pretty please! (Your new to MBT old dude!) all the best, Roger.
I recognise that place! Looks like Ashton Leigh Woods in Bristol, if I'm not mistaken. I've spent most of the past couple weeks there! Great trails in the local area.
I can't stop thinking that the mix of Neil on the hardtail with the thin top tube and the new GMBN shirt with the line pattern makes him look like an old man.
Question for Ask GMBN: What’s the deal with Scottie? Has he left the channel? Is he coming back? I haven’t seen any official goodbye or anything like that!
Hey guys. Recently payed a trip to Dalbeattie in Scotland, and was to scared to tackle the slab. It's basically a giant stone slab, about 14m high and at a ridiculous angle and I was wondering if you could do a video on that kind of feature
I would like to see these guys do more gear reviews, like Bike Radar or seths bike hacks. I get that they have sponsors and whatever, but that would be a hell of a lot more informative and interesting than plugging poc and Scott every video.
Neil, I heard rumors you were going to ride Offroad Finnmark this year, is this correct? If so, you should have a beer with me! (Would love to show you some of the local trails here, but I'm out with a shattered heel)
I don't have a light weight dual suspension bike. I own an pretty heavy trail 6 hard tail from Cannondale. I imagine doing this stuff is much more difficult on my cheap bike.
I have an XC bike with a very different geometry. Handlebars and the pedals are so close together that it makes a wheelie impossible. You can't shift your weight to the rear end because of the geometry. Two of my friends also tried to wheelie but it's basically impossible even though we all can pull off a wheelie just fine on other bikes.
This video felt a lot more chill, not scripted and having fun between each other.
More in this style please
That is in Bristol omg I was there about a month ago and I love the jump set there
The Hill Climb skill is so undervalued! It's unsexy, but just so useful!
Hey Blake, if those are the 2 sticks that will help me with manuals, can you send them to me?
:-) THX!!
Martyn edition of 0:47: jump on the pole with your rear wheel, hop from pole to pole
koko lores That's too easy, Martin would do it alternating from front to back.
you guys make it look so easy! i am getting whole body aches just trying to learn these skills and still not getting them yet! :(

Do you still ride?

Blakes manuals are ROCK SOLID! I envy that...
I tried the jumping off rollers and totally stacked it grated elbow and busted shoulder...Will go and practice these basic skills before I get too cocky again. Brilliant videos keep it up.
So fun seeing these older videos :D
Just two mates having a bit of fun in a carpark. I know you've done this type of video before, but I think that this is the best version you've done so far.
Great video! I'm a novice, and have two daughters that love to rife bikes. We'll be working on these tricks when I get home! Thanks alot!
Cheers!

Steven Daniels yeah I reckon aye
Steven Daniels why do you say that? I'm new here, so if it's obvious, sorry about that
Steven Daniels why? He was just riding and didn't have any massive impacts.
J S if it were my cheap 29ers they would bend.

Question for Ask GMBN:

Car park challenge with all of the presenters! Lets see what skills Doddy has got.
Will blakes sticks be available in the GMBN shop?

Mr. Samson whats your rear hub? sounds amazing ! :O
TheMatzoman Mr. Samson has the SRAM DI-20 hub. :0
What kind of pedals would you recomend for a beginner when starting doing these tricks, SPD or flat?
that's in Bristol
looks easy with that carbon frames and high end groupsets. try it on entry bikes, thats a different story.
Very truth
Watch seth's bike hacks video on bikes being to heavy
No no no.... Here we see a beginner talking. It makes no difference!
No es la bici es el rider 💪😎
Skills with Phil did this.
So essentially playing games of SKATE, but on bikes. Even by yourself it works :p
Dope
