Super Mario Ds is an amazing Mario game and the first I have played. Looking back at it I am surprised at the variability in enemies in the game, each different location and/or level has its own enemies which is amazing to think about
Blue P switch coins really shouldn't count here, the developers did not intend the player to actually pick every one of them up in those levels where they're all grouped up like that.

This is the classic game of the New Super Mario Bros. series. It was my first video game; I got it when I was five or six years old or so and beat it 100% within months (several months, but less than a year), and it has some of the best music in the series. The ghost house theme is actually creepy, the castle theme is dramatic and awesome, and the graphics feel like they were specifically designed to give us nostalgia several years later. Over all, I think Nintendo should have kept making the rest of the games more like this one instead of bearing more resemblance to the Wii version, especially in the music used.

Nathaniel, in 5-Ghost House, you can make a Bruiser come from the below set of stairs to only destroy the bottom two blocks that were in your way. I felt the need to point this out.
Leave the room and come back to respawn them. Aside from that though it should be possible to just hit the block with the shell without killing them anyways, if they don't happen to respawn normally in this level.

This guy is a very good youtuber. Why? He could have ended the video at 10:04 and get all that revenue but he continued so we can get more content to watch. Now that's a good youtuber who actually cares about the viewers and not only the money :D
In the sub-area of 1-2, you can throw the koopa shell down to the bottom and it'll clear a path below the pipe. If you run and duck under it the game will push you into a second area featuring goombas, coins, and a mega mushroom. I don't know if you got it, but it's there
