So looked up how to get the curse and it said you could do this or get reputation 75 with Reapers. Is this true, and if so, which is faster? I'm at reputation 13 with reapers and 2 with the servents of the the flames
Honestly I suck at naval shit so my plan is ram them with my boat and kill them till the boat is about to sink then get back to my ship and repair. Or as soon as it starts make my boat go In circles then shoot myself onto the enemy ship and sail him out of the arena zone. While spawn camping him. Seems to be the best way for me till I get better at shooting cannonballs. I just started playing so it's rough
@@gageivan544 yeah but nothing on insiders counts, I took part in all the S8 tests and even though someone told me they were doing a limited time progress transfer, nothing came through.
No one is talking about the grind not only do you either have to be pirate legend and/or level 75 in reapers you then have to reach rank 100 in the PVP to be able to even access the hide out or the curse. And then another 100 levels to get the other curse And hide out. Even if you won every single PVP fight you ever played it's probably gonna take people weeks if not months to even get 1 of the hideouts or new curses
I really don’t think it’ll be that bad, considering there are commendations for hitting allegiance level 1000 for golden versions of said ghost and skeleton curse, but that’s also if one player sticks to one single side
@@ty_tgm right I just heard that today level 1000! Will anyone ever even get that high in the faction! Will any player actually ever make it that far! I dont think anyone will!
I honestly don't believe that their is sbmm in hourglass. I'm not the best at pvp but I can stand my ground sometimes and I get in matches with people that are way way way better than I am.
The Loot thing was broke for our ship yesterday. We dove down for a match and then it resurfaced us after about 45 seconds and said matchmaking failed. Then we lost all our treasure it was all gone. They need to fix this for sure
Treasure only works if you're DEFENDING. It says so in the Trailer. Diving down is always the Aggressive Attacker. Each Grade you reach is 1k more Money. For example each Ship nets you 10k, Grade 2 nets you 12k.
Its better to reset as When you have the 4th sink all you are getting at higer streaks are More gold and reseting from 4 helps you get faster matchmaking
“How to win this quickly” Just win fights lmaoooooo Honestly terrible advice, some of us do have actual jobs and can’t exactly afford to get the skills required to face off against day 1 sweats from the Arena with 4800 hours minimum in total playtime Literal clickbait
Can anyone tell me what there is that you can only get through sinking/killing people? Like technically you could max out allegiance without killing anyone. What is there just for sinking people?
When you go for the hour glass, you are put into a pvp marking. That means, they spawn on you, if they are playing the event. You sink them, you get rep. If you want to do just treasure, you get rep. You can run, but if they are better sailors, you will get wrecked. You do not get a choice of canceling out the pvp while doing this event.
@@cainabel6356 Yes, I know. I don't want to run. I want to know if there are rewards you can get only by sinking ships, because I want them. Theoretically, you could get level 1000 without winning a single fight. I'm wanting to know if there are any rewards or titles tied to the amount of ships you sink or the streaks you go on. @@greyfox4577 sadly the gameplay is very broken for a solo player. Game becomes a 2 v 1 and they continue to nerf weapons. That proves the issue and sadly only way to balance the game would be to have the system be setup this way. If you are solo the weapons you use do more damage and you are harder to kill vs 2 v 1. If someone joins you the system balances back out.
@@dragongamer2670 wrong, if you queue solo you only go up against a solo
@@durabledabber5228 strange then when I was attacking how did the guy have extra people then?
@@durabledabber5228 that is not true ive gone up against 2 players regularly on a sloop while i'm solo, i don't mind it as i like the challenge but the problem is this gives them an advantage.
How many ships need to be sinked to reach tier 100 tho?
2:17 whats the name of that flameheart ship set and how do i get it?
Kinda sad, I just wanted to play as a skeleton, but having to grind pvp just doesnt sound like my thing
There a 3 paid skelys on the emporium
Last night I got destroyed ten times in a row (at lvl 8 flame) I'm a beginner yes but I'm good at video games generally and yet it's putting me against people who shred me within 60 seconds no exaggeration. I don't understand how I'm ever meant to get to 100... I got to lvl 10 after being destroyed over and over. Is matchmaking not skill based?
Do you have to be lvl 75 or can you be pirate legend
I don’t feel like there is skill based me and my friend are kinda new and we are going up against sweats who sink us in under 5 minutes
So looked up how to get the curse and it said you could do this or get reputation 75 with Reapers. Is this true, and if so, which is faster? I'm at reputation 13 with reapers and 2 with the servents of the the flames
It is not or, it is both.
@@GhostAdmiral Thanks
But, which (in your opinion) would take less time.
Can anyone tell me when the xp for earning a level in the servants caps? Like I know it’s requiring more xp per level over time. But when does it cap?
Think i read something about lvl 1000 but im not sure
There are Defenetly more levels above 100
@@patpat6926 1000 Levels minimum as the Golden Phantom Curse is at that level.
Time for me and my D1 buddies to start wreaking havoc!!
You cant get treasure grade if you are matchmaking I thought? It just floats up.
Do you have to be level 75 reaper to unlock the skeleton curse
Yes!
How do you get into controller lobbies I keep getting keyboard players?
Flame heart is based
How long does it take
I dont like this season since all my enemies are bringing me out of bounds
This is the same video word from word as the last one
If you are below average at pvp, I would recommend lower your hourglass every 2 wins.
Is this limited time?
Skill based matchmaking is bs
Honestly I suck at naval shit so my plan is ram them with my boat and kill them till the boat is about to sink then get back to my ship and repair. Or as soon as it starts make my boat go In circles then shoot myself onto the enemy ship and sail him out of the arena zone. While spawn camping him. Seems to be the best way for me till I get better at shooting cannonballs. I just started playing so it's rough
Can you get both curses or just one of them
both
Have you unlocked it yet
And if so: HOW!? It hasn t been a day
No, this is just showing the fastest method
Insiders have had this for a while on the insider server
@@gageivan544 yeah but nothing on insiders counts, I took part in all the S8 tests and even though someone told me they were doing a limited time progress transfer, nothing came through.
this would be helpful if i didnt get matched up against only day 1 players that have at bare minimum 150 days
Oh pvp? Guess I’m locked out of this then, YAY!
There is no skill base matching, I'm lvl 2 and every ship I go up against has the ghost curse and trolls the shit out of me
Does anyone know when this ends
I love everyone i found is lsd
Just found out that you , one of my most watched sea of thieves channels , I haven’t subbed to
Does anyone know the name of the font of the thumbnail?
I honestly don't believe that their is sbmm in hourglass. I'm not the best at pvp but I can stand my ground sometimes and I get in matches with people that are way way way better than I am.
Juicing the clickbaits lol
Anybody wanna go for both curses, while playing together
The Loot thing was broke for our ship yesterday. We dove down for a match and then it resurfaced us after about 45 seconds and said matchmaking failed. Then we lost all our treasure it was all gone. They need to fix this for sure
u lose ur treasure if u dive down to matchmake
Treasure only works if you're DEFENDING. It says so in the Trailer.
Diving down is always the Aggressive Attacker. Each Grade you reach is 1k more Money.
For example each Ship nets you 10k, Grade 2 nets you 12k.
Can you get skeleton and ghost
risk it for the biscuit
100 seems unobtainable
Man how many videos can you make LOL
Is bring level 75 a requirement or can you just be pirate legend
To get inside the reapers lair: you HAVE to be reaper level 75 and servants 100.
To get inside extra PL room: PL and guardians 100.
Can someone say if it's faster to reset glass after every 4 wins or just keep it up all the time?
Its better to reset as When you have the 4th sink all you are getting at higer streaks are More gold and reseting from 4 helps you get faster matchmaking
“How to win this quickly”
Just win fights lmaoooooo
Honestly terrible advice, some of us do have actual jobs and can’t exactly afford to get the skills required to face off against day 1 sweats from the Arena with 4800 hours minimum in total playtime
Literal clickbait
I saw a guy with the curse today, there's no way right?
More likely than not it was the krampus or spinal costume
Depends on how he looks, Viking looking Skeleton? Outfit.
Yeah that's exactly where my mind went to it probably was.
If there is skill based matchmaking why did I get matched against an arena sweat
treasure grade goes away when you dive tho
so i never have any treasure by the end
Know what I mean?
edit: basically I'm wanting to know if theres anything i can grind for so I can flex sinking a lot of ships lol, like a legendary sea dog equivalent title
@@jackdeaves1428Some of the skeleton curse cosmetics are tied to commendations that need you to sink ships after you have gotten your skeleton curse.
theres a big problem with the matchmaking, its sooo long, almost 40minutes per round... this sucks
