Anyway, tempo mapping this song on Reaper is really hard, I failed to make it right-and I can't
wait, that's why I'm using "stems" from the original record instead of my own this time. It sounded a bit weird because the stems are processed by AI.
However, every guitar parts that you hear in this video is 100% my performance.
...And yes, those are mosquitoes, it's transitioning to rainy season here. Hot and humid, they really thrive.

How can i get that punchy sound on my guitar
I think part of it is to pick the strings hard enough, plus use new strings. Also, I was using Dunlop JP Ultex pick in this cover. The material alone gives the tone more attack. It's my favorite pick.

This, Dying Song, and Yen are honestly the only decent songs on the album. I'm pretty disappointed in their new album. It lacks alot of banger guitar riffs and I feel Jim and Mick did not have enough time to be creative due to the album being rushed to be released.

Ngl, I agree with you but you can't deny that hivemind isn't a banger. Apart from the out of place really high chorus which kind of ruins it for me
@@siddharth9288 OH for sure, once Jay comes in and the guitar with the verse line it's solid. But gets boring afterwards. None of these songs unfortunately had a immediate impact on me like Unsainted, Psychosocial, Duality, and plenty others. I feel like this album is comparable to Metallicas St. Anger
