I had to Google what his channel name means. It makes me feel so sad for this man. Obviously it’s been 2 years since he posted anything, I wonder what happened that he only posted three videos? I hope he is thriving somewhere and has chased all his demons away. God bless him.

I hope this guy is still alive and well. I remember first watching his three videos on his channel when they were first uploaded and I was going through a difficult, depressing time. It was comforting watching him speak through the camera at the time, hearing him share. Every once in awhile I come back to see if he ever uploads anything else, but I see that he hasn’t. It has gotten better for me now in comparison to last year - of course, I’m not perfect and I still have my low days, but I have been better.
I hope it has gotten better for you too.
    ❤️

Same here. Perhaps he's found the motivation and moved on from this channel. I hope these side-effects from this medication he's talking about in this video didn't cause any complications. Lockdown was tough on everyone. Whether he has stayed in the same place or found some answers, we would like to know what he is doing and if he is OK.

I'd love to hear how are you. Hopefully well. I've lived with depression and anxiety for 18 years now, there are much better times in between those years and some that are worse. In retrospect even the worst years are meaningful parts of life, but while living them it's hell. You are not alone. And it will pass, I promise. It will not change magically and just go away and it will require a lot from you, but nothing more than you can handle. Small steps. You have good insight, you have strength (even it might not feel like you do, but I see it).

I used to crave for good friends and company in the past. Now, I've gotten used to being alone so much that I don't even desire having to dealing with another persons. Everyone has their own quirks, obsessiveness, pet peeves that you kind of have to navigate your way through it so that you won't unintentionally upset or hurt them. I have enough of my own issues and can't be bothered to deal with a friend's or acquaintance's issues. Once you get used to being by yourself, it is very difficult to turn back around and have a 2-way or multiple "communal" way of living.

Please don't give up if one medicine doesn't work for you. My ex-wife suffered from similar issues and every medication affects everyone differently and it a very fine line between helping and making things worse sometimes. I'm 49 now and my marriage has ended and i've lost both of my parents and i spend most of my days working and playing solo board games. I completely understand where you are coming from. I will say that I was never a dog person, but my wife wanted one and he is the only thing in my life that brings me pure childlike joy. And I know that one day I will lose him, but I would immediately be back to adopt another dog. At the end of the day, everything in life is a distraction. We all want to leave something behind, but most of us won't be remembered. That is just the human condition. You are not alone.

Hi, Depression is not a disease , this is the beginning of a spiritual wake-up call., you can,t treat it with medication , it will pass by itself.
In this situation it is not important whether you have frinds or not., do not look for Love somewhere beyond yourself , find it in You first.
    TRUE LOVE MEANS - Trust , Gratitude , Caring , Compassion , Appreciation , Acceptance , Tolerance , Patience.
Ask yourself one important quesstion ,, Who I Really Am ?,, . Take Care.

Hey man, just had RUclips bring up your videos. I hope you're in a much better place now and that things are going well for you! I'm. 44 and have had similar problems to you in the past. I found the best thing for me was when I changed my diet to meat based. I cut out all vegetables and just ate red meat, Eggs, fruit and honey and I have not had a panic attack in 3 years now. Also, that feeling of dread has completely gone and I no longer jump whenever there's a knock at the door or I get a text message 😅I also have a generally much more optimistic and upbeat attitude to life. Cutting out processed food has an absolutely huge affect on mental well being. I have also been hitting the gym which again has a big impact.
Finger's crossed that everything is going much better for you now, mate. England isn't a great place to be when you're down. We're told 'our' NHS is the best health service in the world, but that's not been my experience. Just know that you can get out of this rut. You've done it before and you will again. Take care

Some of the symptoms of anxiety can be from life experiences, diet, lack of exercise, social isolation and all can interact to cause one another. One thing that many people do not recognise is spiritual factors - things people are involved in ( I explored Eastern practices years ago - several different things I explored as they came across my path and awakened a search for spiritual meaning in myself - but - they were spiritually dangerous - most people do not realise this - that certain things can open spiritual doors and we can be attacked spiritually - I had gone from being raised in a religion ( which had been one of several issue in childhood ) also spooky cartoons and tv programmes, scary stories - a fascination for Halloween in childhood and adult scary tv shows that were on when I was a child. In adulthood going to groups under the guise of self improvement ( connected to Hinduism thought I was pretty clueless when I was going there) then a Buddhist meditation group and brief dip into some yoga and some other stuff - i started getting night terrors and a work friend of mine who went to another Eastern group doing "exercises" ( which are really worship rituals in disguise as exercises ) she had weird stuff happen including out of body / astral projection which is very dangerous.
The thing that cleared all that out for me was finding salvation in Jesus Christ via The Bible - no religion - just a reconciled relationship to our Creator via the one off salvation transaction - info about that on some of my playlists accessible by clicking on the green circle to the top left of this post and from youtubers like "Nicholas Getty" and
"Gregg Jackson" and Mark at "ProclaimHisWord". This is the free gift that extends into eternity and is clean not like religion and the eastern stuff i tried - also people make big dangerous mistakes - trying to contact the dead and stuff like that - many people have been affected by traumas and also due to involvement in spiritually dangerous stuff which isn't always presented as dark - but is subtle deception. At the same time - many people have been fooled into tapping into dark practices like kabbalah and even types of witchccraft, horror movies, tarot cards, horoscopes - opening doors that they cannot close - Jesus Christ is the Only Help for these and for salvation of the soul.

I'm on this boat too for a long time now and I want to turn my life around with a little bit of help that I'm not sure I'm going to get but I'll remain hopeful and I'll also see what can I do. My woe consist of me being defective physically, mentally and socially. I'm also being haunted by the past plus my environment and where I came from. I wish to control some of it and alter my course to be better. Idle for quite a long time now, gaming back then and now reading my classic literature books which is now my passion. Now I want to return to college to take something related to literature. But it could be more complicated and I really wish I'm not sounding like making an excuse. Some things doesn't define us, it can depends and there can be more about us as a person and not just be define by our problems and status. Though the majority, functioning and has less issues individuals may not understand, it has to be enough that we have ourselves, others like us and the ideas, the arts, philopsophies and stories that we can immerse ourselves into and use to hopefully get out of our predicament, to be free, to live fully.

I also take a medication for my depression, though my doctor was very clear about having to start slowly. He advised me to cut the pills in half and take half a pill per day for the first 10-12 days, then switch to a full dose of one pill per day. He also told me that the effects wouldn't start until 4-8 weeks during our first appointment where we discussed starting with this antidepressant. I do live in Belgium, so maybe a difference in doctors experiences between our countries.

I was put on antidepressants here in UK but they made me feel so bad, but when I told the GP I felt the tablets were making me feel worse I was told to "Stop them, then". So I stopped them, and have refused tablets ever since. I only later found out that they should have tried me on different tablets if the initial ones don't work. I was with a friend in Belgium who went to see her GP then had to go to the hospital for tests, and the service reminds my of the medical system I grew up with in South Africa many years ago. Here in UK it's awful. I've not been able to get a GP appointment for a few months, now. Neither has my elderly dad who is supposed to be monitored by the GP after an operation but there are no appointments available. We've been told a week ago that there's nothing before Xmas. It wasn't too bad before a couple of surgeries closed down and left one to take up the patients, then shortly after was the lock downs which seem to have collapsed everything. The chemists are struggling to get some drugs at the moment, too. I'm having to rely on charities for my mental health problems, and they have long waiting lists but the NHS system couldn't help me because they are struggling to cope with people in a much worse condition than I am. Anyway, I'm going on a rant, now! 🙂

Thanks for the video. I have been housebound in London Hotel for about 5 weeks (on and off alcohol has enabled me to get out to some extent, but obviously made things worse) second day off alcohol, but I had telephone appointment with Dr here and was prescribed Escitalopram 5mg for a week last Wednesday. I didn't pick them up until last Friday as was shaking from fear and was totally a sight, and this was me on alcohol. I had to go and collect them from Boots today as Dr called earlier and prescribed 28 tables, Escitalopram. Funny to describe, but waiting to go out of room, 1st for shower, then actually to hand in key scared the shit out of me; however, it wasn't that bad and when I was outside I gradually talked myself a little calmer - thus, I think the medication is having an effect. I guess you know feeling of feeling like a freak, all eyes on you etc is so shameful, but totally out of or control. Your story is in someways a little similar: I arrived here from China about 7 weeks ago, I worked there as International teacher. I have struggled with anxiety most of adult life, but to much lesser degree. I left Moscow to get to China 3 weeks before pandemic broke out. My Wife was pregnant with our Son and she and our daughter went to her mon's in the Philippines to give birth. She was meant to come to China, but the pandemic closed and made the journey in or out impossible. Months went to years, and over time my mental, and physical, health went down. Long story short, I was shipped out of China back to London via a medical hospital (yes a guy in Chinese mental hospital, with about 10 words of English). I was in there due to an act I carried out, best not to elaborate. Anyway, I think reality has hit in London and massive anxiety has been present even with self medication alcohol, medicines I had from China, and later Doctor. Money running down as in London hotel which is expensive. It's only today that I can only hope, and believe, that the Escitalopram will get me finished up here so I can travel on. I hope to get better, get physically fitter, stay away from alcohol and be able to travel to Philippines in Summer. Have been feeling so alone her, and guess I am, but reading your, and others, comments, If I have a panic attack "so what" I got to get my mindset right as sick of living in fear. Thanks for sharing, good luck.

@B D I believe you believe that. It’s what you’ve heard I understand. I used to think like that too. What you are parroting is drug enforcement propaganda. These type urban legends have been around since the late 60s and are kept going and perpetuated by each generation. Another favorite myth was that LSD caused chromosome damage. Another was people thinking they could fly and jumping off of balconies of hi rise buildings. Then the one about MDMA use causing holes in your brain. PCP giving people super human strength. Even recently with Alpha-PVP turning people into face eating zombies. The common thread with all of these different substance’s stories is they are all false. Not true ..made up. Once more no one has ever went on a permanent trip. There is zero medical evidence in medical journals of this ever happening

    • @waltersobchak7275

That’s the people that I learned my information from. Low IQ on my part huh?? Well you can’t be in the line of work we were in for decades and be a mental slouch. That’s the funny thing about the internet. You never know who your conversing with on the other end of that comment. You just happened to pick that one person in a million who really knows what time it is.

Similar situation; this life sucks. Seek God; it really helped me. I know it's cliché, but it's the only thing that has helped me. Also, the pandemic experience was so similar to mine. I finally was coming off the meds, finally had a steady job, even started thinking about buying a house. Suddenly, everything got destroyed; they closed the gyms, which are my therapy, and I got locked in my room. I lost every single penny, friends, job, everything. Now, I'm really tired of starting again (this would be my fourth time starting again). But I was just reviewing my resume to start again, from zero, all over again. Thank you for the video and the advice!

I was on regular citalopram for a few years and found it didn’t do anything. Moved onto mirtazapine and that worked for a while but it made you a total zombie. It would make you sleep for 10 hours and never really feel awake. Stopped taking all meds 3 years ago. I find working out and outside walks help no end. Eating properly, nothing extreme just cut out ready meals and takeaways. Big one is the booze. Even a few pints can trigger off a depression lasting a few weeks. I just don’t bother now, luckily I prefer a little green. I just have to be careful not to wake and bake and make an effort to get out the house. Please look into any jab before you let them stick you brother.
