Can you address price point on Baby Lock vs Brother? I can't justify 3,000, but my dealer has floor models that might be a good deal. Disney is not important, but I want to get applique designs and put them into some projects. I need to take some designs and shrink them down into a 4.5 inch space. From there I might want to be able to graduate into a bigger hoop other than 5 x 7 but not sure. The technology needs to be user friendly etc. HELP! also, reliability is a must in case I want to try small business. Thanks
This would be comparing the Brother Luminaire XP3 and Babylock Solaris Vision. The question then is, is the internal hardware the exact same parts and both sourced by the same parts manufacturers?
With the plastic off its almost impossible to tell them apart. Mechanically they are identical, the difference is in the boards, the Babylock has a cosmetically different interface from the Brother and the built in designs will be different as well. The Babylock is manufactured under contract by Brother. Not all Babylocks are manufactured by Brother, for example the Babylock serger is way better than anything Brother makes and some of the lower end sewing machines in the Babylock product line are made be Janome.
@@Fourpinesquilting Well this is kind of old now, but the reason for this was I got subscribed to your channel. Not by me, that's for sure! And this isn't the first time this has happened. Maybe 2 or 3 years ago - I got subscribed to small channels with a few videos that somehow got thousands of viewers in a day. That's not the algorithm. That's a backdoor. Coincidently, a famous channel got hacked again today. They changed his name to Tesla and started spewing fake videos, it's the second time I've seen the exact same thing. So you can see why I don't trust channels that just sprout in my subscription.
Love your videos! Even if I don’t always get to watch live. I do go back and watch them all.
Happy New Year 🎉
Thank you for this, the comparison was quite helpful!

Baby Lock machines are always better quality machines when compared to their Brother counterparts. Always.

@@Fourpinesquilting Thank you!! Your information is appreciated. 🙂
Did you pay someone to gain subscribers?
It's not going to work you know. I'm going to unsubscribe now.
Lol. No pay to play here, we just let the algorithm do its thing.
