@@benny_dryl I shouldn't be surprised that it's captured so well. It is trained on podcasts, after all, but it's so funny to me that the male AI is a mansplainer. Art mirrors reality or whatever.
For a moment I was like, "There's a big tell that it's AI," but then it occurred to me that a lot of podcasters talking nonsense would actually say it like that. It would've been great, though, if the other voice had "corrected" him on the pronunciation.
@Kryptnyt fair enough, i actually like that point tbh. it's just funny af to hear ai say it the opposite way a person would assume with their human eyes and brain. like when fb boomers talk about maymays lol
The fascinating thing about this is how it reflects our society. The computer digested millions of human interactions and this was the summary. The male is confident and slightly condescending. The female is playful, but persistent. Both of them sound completely bored with the topic, but you can hear the AI adding notes of intrigue to help retain the audience. In conclusion, corporate media is so unconvincing that even AI can identify when the hosts are BS'ing.

It won't exactly be "fun". We'll whimper away into obscurity and irrelevancy, starving to death. Bro, we're at a point where even conversation with human beings is becoming moot. This is beyond f*cked.
@@jorge69696 It's not the wrong conclusion. The model and use case is *explicitly* designed to create a conversational podcast like this. If you fed the exact same document to a standard LLM meant for true analysis it would immediately tell you that it's essentially nothing.
@@justin_ooo No, it would not. If you ask it to analyze it, it would give you an analysis. That's what LLMs do, they give you what you want. If you ask ChatGPT to point you to all four Rs in strawberry, there's a high chance that it will. There is analysis here. The fact that the LLM arrived at Dadaism is commendable, but it's drowned out by diarrhea of bullshit that weaves in and out of ideas without any cohesive thought process, it's beyond rambling, it is nothing. And no, not all podcasts just ramble, the problem is that the LLM doesn't "understand" anything, it just ties together shit it thinks fits based on what was said before. And then it uses connectors that make no sense, tying together contradictory statements with causal conjunctions, for example.
"THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUITS IN WAFER THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY COMPLEX. IF THE WORD 'POOPOOPEEPEE' WAS ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES, [...]"
6:16 "And hey, if you're ever staring at a blank page, like, literally or figuratively, and you don't know what to make of it all, just remember: poo poo pee pee" 🤣🤣🤣
I find it sad that the AI just concludes there is no distinct meaning in 'Poopoo Peepee', like they aren't really commiting on pointing out real meaning. It's just meta-talk. I would like them to delve into the obvious human-waste fixation the author of the document shows. I really think there is something there.
Remind me of what we were asked to write in art school. It's coherent, logical, there's a deep message, but ultimately it's about a document with nothing but "Poopoo Peepee" in it.
This is so interesting. You've given it essentially nothing to work with, and still forced it to come up with something. This is a great way of revealing how much of NotebookLM comes from its training rather than the input documents. (Also LOL)
At 2:40 I confidently started typing a comment saying "This is actually 95% of the contemporary art discourse I've ever heard" But THAT backfired on me quickly enough, didn't it? God damn it, I really need to go take a shit to feel like a human being again now.
I love this so much. This video fits neatly into the ongoing discussion about sincerity and how it’s lacking in the current media/internet landscape. Poopoo Peepee indeed.

1:16 - 1:21 Is absolutely insane. The woman AI sounds so natural. Even chuckling a tad bit.
@@jorge69696 It's not the wrong conclusion. The model and use case is *explicitly* designed to create a conversational podcast like this. If you fed the exact same document to a standard LLM meant for true analysis it would immediately tell you that it's essentially nothing.

The fact that the LLM arrived at Dadaism is commendable, but it's drowned out by diarrhea of bullshit that weaves in and out of ideas without any cohesive thought process, it's beyond rambling, it is nothing.
