Imagine a fighter who finished Oliveria on the ground and Volkanovski standing. Unbelievable!
Islam is all time great but his second volk win should not count as a testament to that greatness. 11 days notice coming off of hand surgery to the dominant hand is not a factor that makes a fair fight for volk.

I think Makhachev can win a close fight vs Leon but its impossible that he can dominate Leon, if Leon was 155 lbs size, he still couldn't dominate him. Also fighting Arman isn't really necessary, he already beat Arman before and Arman's performance wasn't equally as good as Makhachev's vs Oliveira, Makhachev can fight Max or Conor-Chandler winner if he wins vs Poirier.
Its crazy to think that Islam defeated a Guy who was seen as unstoppable with a 11 win streak and then after that defeated p4p King Volk who also had an 11 Win streak. He did all that in a span of 4 months I mean think of that with both Oliveira and Volk being in their Prime and people still tryna down talk that.
Volks was 12 win streak.

Yeah Charles had the best run of his career, and the first round it was even skill for skill, but then Islam got the second takedown and he showed he’s a level above. Very good performance from both but Islam is just too good right now

@@masondykstra9464if you think that, thats pure copium. Makhachev was tagging Oliveira with the hook cross combo all day. Justin, Dustin and Chandler all wilted under Oliveiras aggression. Makhachev just used Oliveiras aggression to catch him coming in.
As much as I like Oliveira, Islam made him look like an amateur, especially on the feet

Damn after finally rewatched this fight twice, Oli did a pretty good ground defence on his back in the 1er round, crazy how I love this fighter, i hope he'll be back for a winstreak and a remarch vs Islam. And props to Islam, this guy is so solid, probably the most complet fighter of this era.
