I've always really liked the sort of simplicity that lego minecraft allows - creative and often pretty builds using basic pieces, it really inspires you to make your own dioramas with all that unsorted lego in the box
Except the price doesn't reflect how basic the sets are. You're basically paying 10 cents per piece for lego bucket bricks and the only value is from the minecraft themed figures, animals, accessories etc
I like that the chest loot is stuff you would actually see in a dungeon chest. Also, for those wondering, the music disc printed here is most likely "cat" which you can actually get from a dungeon.
I’m not sure how they would accomplish this in a simple way but if they could somehow add the flame particles popping up when the skeleton spawns that would the cherry on the top! Thanks for the review Jang!
Just wanted to voice my agreement about the price point, set size, build variety, minifigure assortment, and play value. This is the sweet spot in general across all Lego themes in my opinion; good value without being a huge expense.
This is an amazing set! One of my favorites. Now i wish that the bastion set came with a pigstep disk.. I did have a really badly discoloured dark blueish grey piece in this set, one of the bigger pieces too so its super noticable. It was a good 2 shades darker grey the rest
Personally I'm not a big fan of Lego Minecraft but the current wave is looking pretty neat. Lots of decently priced and affordable sets, I wish they did this more. I'm getting more tired of seeing these huge sets every day.
This set reminds me a whole lot of the last dungeon set Lego released, which was my favorite minecraft set up until that point! Something about the two walls and a floor makes for such great play and display, which is absolutely the best of both worlds. Current lego prices could've landed this at $40, even if it's worth about $30, so I am very happy to see the moderate price. It was a day one buy for me, and I'm glad I did- it's been proudly on top of my PC tower ever since!
I always hope Lego make this good value set. Now those days Legos are expensive. Even Lion Castle quite expensive. They should sell set at 300-350 USD not 400 USD.
You always say in these Minecraft reviews how you haven't played Minecraft in so long and aren't up to date on where the game is at, so why don't you stream yourself playing it on Twitch since you've been streaming so much lately? Could be a fun idea

yeah it's terrible loot. not even any armor
I love how LEGO incorporated three distinct elements of the Caves and Cliffs update into one set. The flip wall is icing on the cake!

My first thought to accomplish this was some trans orange 1x1 bricks/plates on the black 1x1 clip piece that could then be attached to the top bars
The little orange circle is the closest thing

It uses the parts well enough to offer a variety of stuff for a low price.

Just wanna say , lego Minecraft is awesome stuff. Thanks for the work Jang
this one looks great! I’ve never brought a minecraft set

I like the part variety here, and it's good to see regular bricks central to builds!
Love the content, Jang is one of best RUclipsrs out there.

Ooh, I was just thinking, those big flower pieces would be great for a spore blossom.
2015: the zombie dungeon
2022: the skeleton dungeon
Yet another good Minecraft set. Use them for parts packs but will likely build this one

I love the stalactites and stalagmites :¬)
That is a certain buy for me
i think this has amazing repeatable play value
2x great. Set and Review.🦄
Didn’t they already do a dungeon but with zombies
