    • Are Ecollars SAFE for ...
Introducing your dog to the ecollar will help them learn the tool and make training rewarding. The ecollar should not be used as punishment, instead it should help to build your communication and relationship with your dog. That is exactly what I will teach you in this short video.
I use the Martin Chameleon Extender for all of my collars. You can check them out here:

Check out the Martin Micro B Collar, my favorite ecollar here:

In this lesson we introduce Max the Akita to the ecollar in a fair and fun way. We play games and communicate with the ecollar and you'll be amazed to see what a great training aid this tool can be.

FINALLY another person who knows how to use and educate people on the ecollar.
As a trainer myself I am sooooooo fed up with the villainization of this remarkable tool. And even more fed up with the idiots that think they know how to use them and wind up hurting their dogs..
It would be amazing to see you and Larry Krohn do a collaboration. He's truly one of the greats with the tool.
Keep educating and doing what you do. It's saving furry lives.
I check in on this platform once in a while to see who and what is new, maybe new things and techniques I've yet to try or hear about. You've earned yourself a subscriber.
Stay teachable my friend and stay amazing.

Good video and interesting. I've been always quite unsure about e-collars cos of the folks of the force-free movement show videos of dogs being trained with e-collars showing bad body language, tailed tucked, panting out of stress and being afraid. But, here the dog has great body language. Tysm Robert

That was so good Robert! I believe that the e-collar will work better for my Cane Corso than the prong...plus with the correct training, she would love to have a little more freedom from the leash! We plan on training this ASAP and I have watched your other member videos on your site! Thanks for this video!

I just started my dog on an e-collar yesterday and what a difference in just 24hrs and just 4 15 minute sessions. I was afraid of the e-collar but more afraid of something bad happening to my dog as his recall was non existent. Thank you

Big fan of your channel Robert..I've used your advice on my 70 lb reactive cattle dog when I first got her. Technically remote collars are banned here in Australia ( not sure why if they stop your dog from running into a truck or chase a large red kangaroo ). I'm so glad RUclips trainers are starting to use the term "remote collar" as opposed to ECollars as the majority of dog owners seem to thing that your giving the dog an electric shock as opposed to the vibrate. great content. I really like the training in an outdoor setting with a clients dog and lots of external distractions 👍 🙏

I don't know... I like your videos, agree with much of the philosophy of balanced trainers but still don't like the idea of E-collars.

For the first time ever I can actually say I can see how using an e-collar can be useful. Great video and thanks for sharing and opening up my eyes to the PROPER us of an e-collar. I have seen too many use them in a harsh manner that totally turned me off them, but you made it very clear how to use them the right way.

Thanks for this... We're sending our Staffordshire/Pit to a 2 week training course in Sedona today after she'd been 'hunting' our 6 Yorkies and attacked three last week, nearly killing one of them. We're feeling pretty hopeless and this trainer uses ecollars and this gives us some hope.

I've been using educator 900. I have listened to loads of trainers before using it. It has done a fantastic job of my dog recall, he comes back around other dogs no matter what, but. On leash he lunging powerfully passing other dogs while on lead.
What I need help with is can I use the ecollar to stop him lunging on lead. I'm confused because some trainers say an ecollar never can fix aggression problems TIA

Revisit your basic training before increasing stim. Be sure the collar makes proper contact. Check link in video for the extender I use. This is critical.

    • @brooklyngolden9464

Seriously watch the video. These are not the anti bark collars a lot of sickos use. These are small tens units that essentially act as a tap on the shoulder. Literally.
If you don't believe me go try one on yourself. Find your working level which is where you can just feel it. There is zero pain. Zero mistreatment. Zero abuse.
What IS abusive is not training your dog and making them a nervous wreck because they look to their person for instruction and guidance and find none. What is also abusive is having to have a rope, regardless of how it's fashioned, tied around your dog's throat anytime you walk out the door and have it pulling on it non stop.
Ecollar are far far more humane.
