rangers' pitching is really shaky. 3 key guys starting the season on the IL (deGrom, Scherzer, Mahle), and Gray, Eovaldi, and Heaney all have spotty injury histories. bullpen is a well-known weakness around the league and got worse in the off-season. if they re-sign Montgomery they can probably make another wild card (their offense is insane), but i think Seattle and especially Houston just have more complete rosters on paper.

Getting to the dance is going to be tough though if they big to big of a hole up front.
