Is the Philips Hue Go something I could put in my closet to help light it up or is there a better solution for that? None of my smaller closets have lights, and it'd be nice to see better.
Thanks for the great review. I used to control it with the Hue dimmer switch (first version) and now have the new version Hue dimmer switch but am unable to unpair it from the old switch. Do you have any experience with this?
@@adamtalkstech I forgot to mention I don't have a hue bridge and control my light over Bluetooth only and with the dimmer switch. So the switch doesn't show anywhere in the app, I guess because I'm not using a bridge.
Yeah you have to have the bridge in order to do more programming stuff. I didn't even know you could use just the remote without a bridge@@danielmuller4829
@@adamtalkstechI have 3 of them and I don't think there is a way to check the battery level (even through the app), nor is there a way to know when the battery is fully charged when it's plugged.
I really like this lamp a lot but they’re not reliable/durable. I bought one brand new and it stopped working completely after a few days. Got it exchanged for another new one, now a month later the lamp won’t connect to my Bluetooth. Ridiculous for a lamp that costs $150, and if you want to control it with your phone then the app is another $25 annually on top of that. I contacted Phillips for a replacement so hopefully they send me another new one. Otherwise I’ll never buy another one of their products ever again I was referring to the hue table lamp. My bad clicked the wrong video lol
Nice review thank you ! May I ask how long is the charging cable ?
Such a helpful review. Thank you so much!

Can it stay plugged in with wire all the time?
Yes
Yup!
Can you have it sync with music or sound?
Yes I believe you need a bridge and to set up entertainment zones.
Great review!
Thank you!!

Did you go into the hue app and go to accessories and change what it is set to control?

Can I leave it plugged in or is that really bad for the battery?
Yes you can. It’s probably not good for the battery but I did for years
@@adamtalkstech Okay thanks!!
Good review. How do I check the battery level?
I think you have to use the app
I have the Hue app with the Hue Go, but don't see any battery level@@adamtalkstech

That’s crazy. I’ve never had any issues with any fixtures I’ve bought from them
I'm returning this lamp. So not worth the money. Its nice but it cost double the worth.
It all depends on what you compare it to.
I got it rn from best buy as a open box - excellent no scratches item. $62. Also black friday is going on rn so definitely check it out
Mine won’t last long
Wonder if you got a bad unit
