British has an army from 3-4 centuries and has resources of its colonies at its disposal. India started developing an army in the past century and now in the 21st century, India is strengthening & modernizing its military because of its rising economy & resources. So, I think India is doing pretty good and India will improve a lot in future

No I wasn’t referring to quality - I was trying to establish that the numbers don’t mean anything unless you link it to something else.
It’s clear that the quality is there (I know I said quality but I was trying to formulate my thoughts and I think I explained it better in the moments after)

The reason India doesn’t have dedicated mine warfare ships is because we have multiple aircraft to conduct the same mission. Different techniques to kind of achieving the same result. Cheers!

Indian destroyers, frigates corvettes also have dual capacity to do mine warfare, so rather than going for dedicated we have dual purpose hence 0, though India has been contemplating for long to get dedicated mine warfare for specialized missions, but hasnt got traction enough

I keep hearing this.. but for all you know we still might be having kingdoms fighting each other. The Mughals could still be ruling us. We came together as a country during our fight for independence and adopted democracy. The kings also certainly weren’t spending their money on industrialising when the Industrial Revolution was happening across the world, and it’s not as if we had a fabulous per capita income then because of all the riches.
More importantly, our GDP which was mainly because of trading riches would have nosedived as more industrialisation spread. I also don’t think we would have had the powerhouse of the software industry now. So if you believe in God, I don’t think anything happens without a reason, however bad or good it might feel at the time. Everything happens for a purpose. God also removes influences when their purpose is done.
We are happy to see that we have now large economy than UK 😊

India is very new in defence manufacturing. Indian navy manufacturing atleast with 50/60 % indegenous component but aerospace still needs aviation ecosystem. If Modi ji goes on for next 10 years. This will change dramatically.

9:30 sorry that you don't know India was under British rule and most of British army was filled with indian soldiers 5 out of 2 soldiers were Indian in British army, only thing is Britain is ungrateful and had so much attitude to not honor them, you want proof just search battle of haifa, battle of saragarhi and so on....
I know that india was under British rule and that Indians fought and died in WW1 and WW2 but I was referring specifically for the navy and the mines in the waters.
