I have come to appreciate these type of games. If I was younger, this would only bore me to death but now, I find it really really good and interesting. It just looks and feels so realistic. Mad props to all the truck drivers out there.
I don’t play this game, however, I can tell you’re good at it. That being said, as someone who use to do something like this for a living, I am watching this in utter horror. No spotter, no chainsaw, the cargo would have taken out about a dozen powerlines. The trailer would have got caught on the ground very early on, and this is all before you went off-roading in that thing, at night, through a bog. Man I use to do tows while getting shot at by RPGs. I’ll tell you right now, if anyone ever asked me to do a tow like this, I would tell them to go to hell. Good lord!

I wonder if they feel the same fun when they are doing it for real when there is the of risk dying or worse the risk of the good damaged having to answer for it.

As a Truck Driver Im watching this in anxiety! So much eye opener moments . So many times this whole unit could have turned over or break axles/springs!
imagine how skilled the real truck drivers that go one roads like these are, you don't get to view the truck in third person, while gamers have a hard time maneuvering even in third-person

Coz actually ride an automatic heavy truck is a lot easier when going backwards rather than this very crumpled view in side mirror of the game. The feels inside the truck provide you directions meanwhile this game is just steered by a steady chauffeur without a single tremor from the dirt.
@@CassYves I'm sorry but do u realize there are many other countries other than yours (presumably developed) that you are talking about high tech automatic trucks or somethin which many others can't afford? but they yet gotta transport their heavy construction equipment. The drivers in these situations need skills and they also have a co driver who give them the 3rd eye view to help out.

IRL you'd need a on-foot spotter for those awkward spots, it would be cool if that feature was implemented for multiplayer for people wanting an extra challenge of using only the driver's perspective. Also to fans of this game, if you do this shit for fun, you have a future in oilfield hauling.

@@csmith9684 for me its unplayable with the auto transmission. Im staying on mudrunner which supports even 16 speed manual inputs. Works wonderfully with my G27
14:25-14:50 a real truck with a semi-trailer at these angles would have fallen on its side or broken the hitch . I work on a logging truck Iveco tracker, I have a lot of experience . All health and good luck !🔥💪

Not joking this was the hardest contract I’ve ever done by far because I was using the fleetstar which hauls that trailer at a certain angle and makes it very easy to get stuck on any uneven ground. Watching you use a proper truck makes me feel so stupid lol I have a strong love/hate relationship with this game.
The steering wheel cam is pretty dope. I Cant wait to buy one of my own so i could play ATS. That looks like a good steering wheel. Even tho im not a mudrunner fan but this looks pretty dope to see
I play ATS with the saitek heavy duty wheel. Cheeper, and more immersive. I do play snowrunner with that as well. Works straight out of the box. For ATS I use different pedals and the th shifter plus a skrs. I have the g920 aswell, but the ghub software is driving vme nuts
I’m a driver in real life so I don’t want the added stress of doing it in game too haha. But this looks realistic to me. I’ve taken MANY tight corners in my time.
I’ve Done this for real while working in coil tubing. Check out a master coil tubing unit and then imagine driving it in the Canadian Rockies in January, Jeep and booster’d, chained to the tits and zero room for error 🙈 white knuckling it 75% of the time lol. I miss that shit.
Cool video and some good driving. If I can just give you one tip, use low range more often. It will stop the stopping and starting (changing gears) when you get to a hill or mud section. You will be able to keep all your momentum moving forward. But very cool video, I loved it
