Richard Hamond is the kind of person who can walk four dogs over a multi-acre rustic property and finish by 3 minutes and 25 seconds.
He's superhuman.

This is the thing about these three. Those of us who have watched TG since 2002 have formed a kind of bond with them. They feel like our mates even though we have never met them. The chemistry of the three of them brought out so much more of their personalities than just their on-screen selves. This was so great to see, even if there's not a car in it. Hammond is funny regardless of the situation. Love seeing his estate in Ross-on-Wye! Cheers.
So the dogs are named:
- Ojo, the idiot
- Chicken, the tiny girl
- Sparrow, the black Labrador
- Hammond’s Border Collie 😅
I share a farm with my parents and we love the quiet life. There isn’t anything that would make me want to change that.
Are the views has as spectacular as Richard's.

Relax? Lol. Clarkson started a farm. Hammond started a car workshop and May started a pub. Those things are not relaxing. Farming is hard work. Pubs are closing all over UK and running a car workshop is not exacting suntanning at the beach aint it.
What a beautiful and peaceful place to proudly call yours. You're a lucky man Richard.

I love how men, (im exactly the same) talk to their animals when doing a dog walk like “alright team” as if it’s a mission. We really are all the same.

This one reason I love these guys (Clarkson - May - Hammond) their story telling talents.
He loves his dogs so much, it's cute. Always got the vibe he loves animals and kids more than adults. And what a nice property!

Often see Richard at Waitrose Malvern doing his groceries. A very nice down to earth bloke. Always says hello and is very approachable.
Its pretty cool that he has seen so much of the world and has so much to explore close to home

This is brilliant to watch. I love Hammond says "to come home" I'd give everything to come home right now. Im the other side of of world so far away from my family. Home is always HOME.

Nonstop traveling and working he didn't get to be home to even see his daughters grow up or be with the love of his life. No wonder he is so eager to retire. I guess a similar situation is just for all of them three amigos.
Yeah they've done their work and now they get to really enjoy the fruits of their labour and continue to make shows, Jeremy with his farm, James with food and other stuff and Richard with his workshop all able to be done while at home everyday and then for maybe 6 weeks per year they film 2 or 3 specials for the grand tour to keep the fans happy.
I had to watch this while my dog wasn't looking. He would be so dang jealous.
I don't know why, maybe it's the music maybe it's the camera work, but I could sit and watch hours of dog walking videos like this

Very serene and especially so for me. My great auntie and uncle used to live down the road from you in cottages where the old railway bridge crossed. Many a time, years ago, I have walked all those fields around. My great uncle was for many years the bell captain at the church.

His house is called Bollitree Castle. It's just outside Ross-on-Wye. It's what you call a Folly meaning fake bits were added to make it more important.. like the Castle walls. Added by previous owners....look it up on Wikipedia. ..
