Critiquer Del Monaco, faut oser tout de même ! Faut vraiment l’avoir écouté que dans quelques arias où le style était approximatif pour dire cela. Dans plein de rôles, son style était parfaitement adéquat et c’est sans parler de la voix, brillante et glorieuse. Et moi, j’appelle ça du chant. Pas donné à tout le monde il est vrai, car il faut des moyens exceptionnels pour chanter de cette façon.
