Varanus prasinus are great jumpers, like lace and croc monitors. But, as far as I understand, they don't belong to the macropredatory monitors of the Australian clade.

Helldiving right now brother. I hope you're out there spreading democracy as well because we need all the help we can get. These bugs aren't going to exterminate themselves. I mainly play a lot of RPG, strategy with a bit of survival and shooters mixed in.

@@TreeMonitorTraining lmao nice, I actually only just heard of that game from a buddy at the gym the other day, it looks cool, I haven't bought it yet. I play mostly shooters with the odd rpg or crafting survival game here and there (Subnautica and Ark come to mind). Lately though, it's been a hell of a lot of Tarkov and nothing else lol. Do you Tarkov?

@@SlingshotMustang No. The buddy I play most crap with does not like pvp so I haven't played any of the extraction shooters. We mostly co-op everything. Last PvP for me was Dayz which i sunk 1000s of hrs into.

@@TreeMonitorTraining I've been meaning to try Dayz for a while too and never got around to it, that's another game I keep hearing come up

@@SlingshotMustang I played it a long time ago. I don't think it ever got to any really good place. It was better when it was just a mod for Arma.
But without Dayz we wouldn't have the survival, battlegrounds, or even extraction shooter genres as we know them. It's like the grandaddy of all their core elements.
The pvp was great in it though. I rarely pvp but when I do I want it to cost you everything lol. Makes the fights meaningful and jacks your adrenaline.
