I never really knew about Invicta’s heritage. That explains why some watch reviewers are fine with this watch and not the AliExpress versions. Learn something new everyday….Thanks!
I brushed up the bracelet to remove the polished section in the middle, and removed the cyclops and boom 💥! You have a great looking watch! I personally don’t absolutely *LOATHE* the invicta etching on the case, but I certainly don’t prefer it! I plan on changing the dial and the second hand soon. Love this beater for every day wear, I work in maintenance and it gets beat up, still looks great!
This is actually a pretty nice watch for what it is. I own two Invictas, a Titanium Pro Diver and the black bezel 1953. In my opinion, the 1953 is the best watch Invicta makes. It is the best homage I have seen of the original 6204 Rolex Submariner.
@@worthwhilewatches I was told its best to use the maroon scotch brite pad because its finer and you get a better finish but from what im seeing in this video the green pad looks to do a pretty damn good job too
My ProDiver came ( 3 years ago)) wirh a bezel which would not turn at all.I tried everything in my arsenal but it doesn’t turn up this day. I don‘ t wear it any more. There are so much better dive watches on Ali. Would buy a SM instead…50 bucks more expensive but so much better… There is no more heritage in this watch than in a MG car coming out of China. The watch itself may be tough but a dive watch with lume that fades within 3 minutes is just rubbish from the start. Well - at least it helped me to become sensitive on what to check on a watch before buying.
I have some invicta watches and they are tough and extremely reliable ❤

I had a 1953. It was nicely made, but I preferred how the Pro Diver wears. Both are pretty great for the price!
Which Scotch Brite pad did you use for the brushing?
I used the heavy duty scour pads.
@@worthwhilewatches thats green one right not the maroon/red one?
Yeah, just the standard green ones from the supermarket.

That might be better, but I've used the green ones with good results. Just be careful and slow whatever you use.

You make good points! Thanks for watching.
How could it be a Rolex option? You can't compare a Dacia Logan to a BMW M5, can you?
