i am an avid coleus planter and i did this and it worked wonderfully!!! however its best to pull off the bottom 2 leaves and leave 2 inches of stem to plant in dirt... thanks!!!

As i experienced if u plant 3 or more mayanas or plants of different varieties/shades in 1 pot, all the varieties will end up in 1 variety taking the color of the most dominant variety...
