Looks great John! I treated myself to a class 57 “totnes castle” in GWR Green at the Bristol model railway exhibition just gone so will be weathering that up next. Also got a good amount of coaching stock. 3 GWR mk3’s, 2 Intercity mk4’s from Rails at a bargain price, and 2 debranded LNER mk3’s. A fair amount of weathering to be done 👍🏻
Great video.i like your method. I'm planning to weather all my locos and rolling stock later on once my layout is more complete not a small job as I do have quite a lot lol
Nice video but missing a few tips, like how to ensure the bogie doesn’t foul any of the fitted detail on curves. Did you remove the NEM pocket? I can’t for the life of me see how to fit the detail ploughs without the bogie corners hitting them! I have made do with the NEM fitted plough for now though. All the best for a great layout with lots of prototypical track detail (PW Engineer here😁)
Nothing wrong with all four of my Accurascale Class 37s motor wise...ive heard there is issues with DCC sound fitted versions...but all my DCC ready Class 37's are all fine 🙂
As I've stated in a few of my videos, I make no Apologies to the fact I'm using Peco set track...this is easier for me and it helps to teach others either new the hobby to lay simple track abd weather it
@@Derbys65 I do understand why you thought that, I'm using a mobile phone to take the photos, so the clarity isn't clear enough to see the streaking where I have dragged the dirt downward from the tops of the bonnets...looking at all the photos they look spotless...esp with 500 watt spot lights blaring down on all the models 😀
Looks absolutely superb John 😃👍

What paints is it that you use please?
I only use Enamels I trust Humbrol for best results...
@HaroldRoad thank you have a few 37s to do and will try this method to see the results. Great weathering job by the way very impressed with the video.
@@DavidHatch-l9l that was just basis weathering, but the tips and skills will give you a great result 👍
But the nose ends are spotless 🤔
No nose end is spotless, they are weathered, i have spot lights pointing directly down on the models, it just looks like they are spotless..
@HaroldRoad oh right , yeah it doesn't show . Our 37s are filthy at work
