I only ever played Tactics from renting it a couple times. I was an impulsive kid player that didn't understand the game's ebb and flow. I ended up using a GameShark and giving everyone Excaliburs and max level lol. I still enjoyed the story though. On the other side of the coin, I LOVE FF6. So as a seasoned adult gamer, this might be right up my alley!
@@FarrisFamily_08 i would say before tackling this game, its best to have played and beaten ff6. I will finish that one first, and by then this game would be out of the Beta stage.
@@FarrisFamily_08if you're familiar with jrpgs, ff6 is very accessible and not that hard. Good story, very customizable characters, often you use who you have to but later you get to just use the best.
giving everyone spells like haste, raise and esuna innately is crazy OP. and part of the fun of tactics games is putting you in situations where the odds are stacked against you and forcing you to find a solution, like a puzzle. in the fights I've seen in the video so far, the enemies should be running for their lives
10:44 instant speed mog dance with a samurai like range is not bad. Original dancer was terrible with slow charge times that swiftness nor concentration (it missed half the time for stats/debuffs, and mincing minuet was bravery based and gets too weak ch 4) didn’t improve.
All the mods that I play on can be download from ffhacktics.com forums section. I also put the link to the mod i'm playing in the description. I have instructional video on how to mod both version of FFT. Hopes this helps you out.
@MerkhVision because people playing the game usually sound terrible when trying to read somthing out loud as apposed to them selves, unless there a voice sctor. It detracts from the experiece of the reader. So unless its commentary or advice, its better to just play the sorty out and let the reader experience the game as if they're playing it themselves

As far as I know, the mod will not include the story. Think the mod creator wanted to create a unique gameplay experience. At least that what I think.

Nope. You just need use to duckstation emulator, and you need to patch FFT PS1 version to play.
