I am a lifetime crocheter but, new to knitting just under 2 years. Your videos definitely make me feel that I can do this! I am running out and getting yarn to start this beautiful shawl! One thing I like to do because I am horrible at picking up my work and remembering where I left off is placing a stitch marker on the side where the pattern begins. This way I know no marker on the side I am working means knit through, marker means pattern. Thanks for being so patient and thorough!

Another great "TV Watchin" pattern. Thanks! I have made nape-down shawls like this before, and found that it was easier to find the center by adding another stitch marker on the other side of the "spine" stitch, not to mention it maintains the ever-popular symmetry we all love. Please keep up the great work!

If you're ever looking for a project, would you consider doing the dragon tale Shawl? It is a shawl with little teeth along one side. I am a fairly new netter about a year or two. I love knitting shawls. With your help I look very good. I enjoy your videos and have learned a tremendous amount about knitting. Please consider this as your next project I would love to see how you knit those little teeth along the side by casting off a certain amount of stitches.

Hello Sir, and thank you for your wonderful video! I have mastered this project pretty well, but when I get further into the shawl, the eyelets for some reason keeps getting thrown off, and the eyelets end up a little ways over. I have done everything that you have instructed, but still my eyelets are thrown off. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Let just say now that I have been able to correct the wrong that I"ve done. I now have 3 of these shawls that's the verigated kind, thanks to my sweet sister who inspired me to do 3 verigated top-to-bottom shawls.

Ashley Erkes i see it’s been a while, but did you figure it out? It was happening to me, and my SIL explained that when you pass the stitch marker, you have to make sure your working yarn goes behind the marker before you YO for the next stitch, otherwise, the stitch marker gets shifted over and you start your next YOs early.
