- Pavitra & Antil decided to cook the dish that you wanted them to make- Dosa. Both of them learnt the art of making perfect dosas at their favourite street food joints. You don't eat the skin of the drumstick. When you open it, you will find tender flesh of the vegetable cooked. You scrap it and only eat the tender part inside!

You can eat up the entire drumstick when it's young and tender, as it continues to get old the outer shell toughens up and it becomes fibrous. We eat tender drumsticks in its entirety and its yum.

Well across homes in Karnataka, we usually don't make sambaar with dose. It's green coconut chutney and potato sabzi. Sambaar is mostly what you get at restaurants with dose.. Idli sambaar is the combo we make, and well green 🥥 chutney is a must.

Drumstick called 'data' in bengali.A famous vegetable here,many people says that it's a very good vegetable for stronging your teath and it have many more good qualities.

Areee. Dosa banate samay flame kam hona chahiye.. flame high hai isliye gol banne se pehle tutt raha hai.. aur Dosa batter slightly watery hota hai.. 2 spoon pani add kardiya hota tho perfect consistency hota .. ye idli k liye sahi batter hai.

While making dosai on a tawa usually a ladle is used to pour and spread the batter Instead of the katori.btw thumbs up for the right pronunciation

Id just leave small mistakes that you guys made while making this
-you should have let the pan heat up well
-put the batter with a ladle then spread it
-make it as thin as you can
also they dont wash the dosa pan so that they don't lose the well greased pan
If it gets washed the batter will start sticking to the pan

My parents are obsessed with drumstick.... Hamare ghar mai tree hai aur usse swallow nai karna chahiye, chew it, eat the juice and throw it, just like sugarcane.
The Drumstick thing we call it suijan in Nepal. You are supposed to chew it, get in all the flavors, and then discard the stiff fiber-like thing.

you dont need to swallow the drumstick entirely , the best way to eat it is opening the drumstick with your fingers and eat the soft filling inside that is now completely marinated with the sambar masala. Just throw the outer skin :P - From a Mallu :D

U should have added a bit of water in the batter and while put on the tawa u should start rotating the bowl from the centre concentrically with the gas on low flame then ur Dosa would have got the perfect colour
