  • In the immediate media frenzy after the announcement of Britain's Brexit Referendum, the likes of Jeremy Corbyn, Chris Grayling, Iain Duncan Smith and Anna Soubry react to the news down on College Green outside Westminster Palace and the Houses of Parliament, Westminster.
I woke up that day, on the 24th June 2016 and realised I must get down there and record some reactions - I was amazed to see I could just walk up to all the politicians and into the media tents unchecked - people were debating and reacting the the news of the Leave vote.
I caught Jeremy Corbyn watching as David Cameron resigned, the likes of Iain Duncan Smith and Chris Grayling as well as other Tory and Conservative MPs (Norman Lamont, Joh Redwood) and Brexiteer Daniel Hannan, who seemed to say that the vote was split enough to not give the Government a mandate for a full Brexit - how times have changed.
The day was a shock to many, even for those campaigning to leave, and the sense of a change whether positive or negative was obvious. Labour and remainers also reacted on the green such as Peter Mandelson (who made a joke with a banana too).
I thought I would rerelease this, now that four years on, Brexit is about to be finalised with or without a deal, on the 1st January 2021. It is interesting to hear how the debate has changed so much since this day - people's views have changed, their idea of what Brexit meant and the reality vs the promises.
Whether you are for or against Brexit - this film should be of interest now that time has passed. A bit of British history.

Of course Corbyn was secretly delighted about Brexit. It's what he wanted for years. He couldn't let on now though.
