I love Rev Theory, but I never knew until seeing this video that he had such an amazing voice. You dont see artists very often that are able to have both a grainy/screaming voice as well as a clean/acustic voice. Very impressive.
Now this is what you call pure and true talent in singing, sounds so damn good singing this heartfelt song soulfully and hits the high notes pretty good. Really great acoustic performance.
These guys are AWESOME saw them at "Rockfest" 2010 Kansas City, then they came back to KC 2 1/2 months later and did another show for us..they are very humble and sweet..met them after the show
I seen these guys at Rock on the Range last year. They were in the stands pushing their own CD. I can respect them getting in touch with their fans. Great job guys keep it up. Thanks
I'm seeing them live with Shinedown tonight, this song is a prime example of how alike the two are, Shinedown has always been an enthusiast for the troops. Rev Theory will be just as big as Shinedown someday.
I saw them the other night with shinedown and let me tell you, they played this song which was unreal but then they followed it up with a part of Clapton's "Tears in Heaven." It was absolutely unbelievable.
Not listened to this for a long time. Managed to bring me to tears again though. Such a passionate & heartfelt performance of a beautifully written song.
man this song means alot to me. when they played here live, before they played this song, they asked for us to think of someone who is either in the hospital, in the military, or someone close and dedicated this song to them. i have a very close friend who was in a very bad wreck in october and he was ejected from the car. he's stil recovering and he's still not all there. this really hit home when they played it.
Rich Luzzi (the vocalist for those who don't know) is ripped as hell and an awesome person to talk to. I got to meet him and LJ / Morgan of Sevendust while they played in Fort Lauterdale together. All 3 are cool as hell to hang out with.
These guys I guess sorry I don't know much about them but from what I've seen I guess they've been together since 1997 under the name Revalation Theory then went to Rev Theory in 02 but it looks like they play very well together and I really really hope they give bigger and bigger because I really like their stuff.
I saw Rev Theory with Adelitas Way, and Sick Puppies with Breaking Benjamin as the main performance. But Rev Theory was so much better than Breaking Benjamin. I love Rev Theory. They are the shit...Met the drummer at the show too selling cds. Good people.
i saw them at bogarts friday night. ohmuhhgosh. they are friggen awesome. all the bands were amazing. the trapt guy looks like my boyfriend. uhmn. how odd.
I cant believe those losers posted a video response to rev theory, rich luzzi could out sing bolth these jokers even after having throat surgery....keep up the great work guys love REV THEORY!!
Pretty Damn Good - Considering they were playing in an office & didn't have a chance to get the guy singing the secondary vocals - in better tune (exactly on key and/or at a lower volume = as a "backup vocal" level...) That minor quibble aside, it sounds great! I dig that whole album = Light It Up, plus various singles I've heard streaming semi-randomly, and the "Acoustic Live from the Gibson Lounge" disc. I think going with the wrestling thing was a bad call on everyone's part - "Syfy" & all the bands that got pigeonholed as 'WWE Bands', the exposure was probably good but I think many people - would be listener's - found it hard to take most of those bands seriously after that... Some are surviving that choice, others = not-so-much... I really hope these guys manage to get beyond the "Pro Wrestling" taint that many others haven't pulled off.
i saw that show too, it was so good. i was able to buy the CD and thats pretty much all ive been listening to since lol. but ya seriously they were better than Seether
