He chose to let us screw up on our own and then uses all situations to make know himself to us. .our free will. . . . To choose . . First of all, there is proof that it was the NAVY Seals that rescued this team. Where is your proof that your God miraculously saved them? there is none, the proof of God's help can never be proven. I am not denying the existence of our creator, but you really think we are his only creations? Space is infinite (as far as we know) The creator has given us everything we need to function as a society. To think that Earthlings are the center of our creator's attention is wishful thinking, naive and spoiled of you. Also to believe that "we were created by his image" is so fcking narcissistic of us. It's a story that leaves a smile on your face and warmth in your heart to know what Can Be Done when humanity pulls together!! Thank you ALL who went to the trenches and helped these boys & coach get home to their loved ones. The world was watching and we all shared the joy of this successful mission. 💚

I know this was posted years ago but because of the Netflix movie, I watched these news now. They failed to emphasize or it sounds like they didn't know yet at that point that the kids were sedated and unconscious with their hands and feet tied up, while they were transporting them out of the cave.
Should be interesting when monsoon season ends to see just how much work they did to the cave. Preferably such a rescue should never be needed again but no doubt some will want to see what kind of tools could be made to better deal with such environments. I think the pumps were among the most important, some reports say soon after they got the boys out one of the main ones finally failed and the caves started filling up fast, they had to abandon the rest of the equipment and evacuate. "Divers at the scene have revealed how they heard screaming from further inside the cave and saw rescue workers scrambling towards the entrance as the water levels suddenly rose."
Why are we thanking god when it was the efforts from the locals and navy seals that saved the boys. The seals stayed behind with the rest of the trapped boys, not God. It was the Thai people that saved this team, no one else.

It was not only the rescuers and volunteers help and determination, but also the coach's and the teams's faith in Buddha that helped them be mentally strong. I do not see anything wrong with someone making a nice comment such as "God bless" or prayers or "Praise the Lord" but when some of these commenters are stating "God is the reason why they were rescued" is absurd. Could you imagine the outrage Christians would have if a Buddhist or Muslim praised Buddha or Allah to them if something good happened to a Christian or Christians?
and this megyn lady only mentions his death to give a sense of the severity of the situation. how can people say they are happy, how can they clap, how can they smile and people just say with easy words "he was a hero" and then think that is sufficient... so cheap

Your nationalism would not have saved the kids and seems God had many prayers from so many religions he stepped in.... like kids in hospital they just asked for curry and no homework. Sometimes when the world prayers in unison, miracles do happen. As a Brit I am proud some of us played a leading part in the INTERNATIONAL team. Well done the many from all over the world who did their bit for humanity.
