Here we call it temps du fleche. i've learnt that it can be done with both legs straighten as in the second variation of bridesmaid, from Don quixote; with both legs in attittude derriere, as in paquita 4th variation or in pas d'esclave; with both legs folding in the air, one in developpé to extend and another returning to passé to reach the floor; but the temps du fleche in the video is the most common way to do it: the first returning to passé in the air, meanwhile the second does a grand battement! beautiful, isn't ??
