Quick question. If Tiaga can drive as fast as his lap two pretty much. And his lap two uses a mushroom. Why not use it on lap one to bring that lap time down?
Kinda new to all of this so i have a question; why do these world records contain different characters and karts? Sometimes we see Dry Bones with the egg 1, than with this kart, than Yoshi with the egg 1, than Mario with this kart. What’s the point of it?
Kart choice depends on the track. At WR level, most use ROB-BLS owing to its top speed stat but it is very difficult to control due to lower boost length and inferior handling compared to the Egg 1. Character choice does not influence the speed stat but rather weight when going off-road. Top players out of habit simply pick Dry Bones even when the track has no off-road. You can pick literally any character on N64 Banshee Boardwalk and it wouldn't make a difference.
I'm not sure if there is an action replay code or a romhack around but there is a lua script you can run for MKDS which displays it as well as other things such as the boost timer and also a ghost replay hack and input display. More information here: ruclips.net/video/0BxyA0sjqhg/видео.html

I believe the reason he shrooms on lap 2 is to avoid the bats pushing him when he enters the house. Could be wrong though.
