I love the fact that all of "Cooper's" tricks come out of Wile E. Coyote's playbook: painted on "corridor" on a wall, bricked up entrance ways, etc. I imagine the bit with the blown up corridor was where he tried to set up a trap with acme dynamite and accidently blew himself out into space.
No anvils falling though pity
And then we descale a herring. Is it red?
I think Cooper forgot about Tuvok's hidden humor that Nelix brought out.
"Please state the nature of the medical emergency"
"Doctor everyone has reduced in volume by over a half."
The changing of the kal-toh is a neat little detail. Some of these missions feel like real star trek episodes.
I recently replayed this arc with my Delta Temporal Agent (who I neglected for a long time) and realized that Cryptic could really use a new facial scan or two for the Voyager crew. Seven looks especially bad compared to how nice the Discovery-Era cameos we've had in-game since.
But onward, to kicking Doctor Cooper between his three legs repeatedly till he stops saying how "weak" everyone else is.
Kicking Cooper was the best
I wouldn't be surprised if Seven gets a visual overhaul post-Picard. Considering how she appears in the trailers, so far.
@@TymersRealm I know. She looks amazing in the trailer. And I hope we get the dual phaser rifles as an option in-game too. They can do what they did with the Fleet Dual Disruptor Sniper Rifles for the KDF.
@@salenstormwing They did. Dual Tetryon Rifles (they didn't know they were phasers until the episode aired, they just made 'em the moment they knew about the scene of her using them)
well it's a game and I don't think they need face scans cuz it's a game
As a Voyager fan, that Delta Rising intro gave me chills. This is a very, very happy place for me. :-)
I did not expect “Turkey’s done.”
That made me almost spit out my drink but I didn't.
6:20 ; The nostalgia there I find to be enjoyable. I remember this being the start of when many more returning actors from the shows coming to voice act on the game.
i LOVE voyager, from the bottom of my heart! I grew up with Star Trek Voyager. And to know that the cast was back in this game....i actually was ecstatic!
I been playing around with t6 scaling ships. The T6 pathfinder is soooooo good so far even with no tac csoles but other consoles make up for that.
My mind to your mind,
Your thoughts to my thoughts
Your fingers in my eye!
You will admire my cuticles!!
I do find this to be quite the interesting mission. Not only do we go more into the mind of Tuvok and return to Voyager but also more about the internal mindset of the Undine and what they fear. They may often act like they are invulnerable or unrecognizable but they are more alike to the species of the Milky Way then they think.
Everyone needs a Pocket Tuvok, or a “Pocketuvok”, if you will.
Hey, that Combing The Desert Guy did other things?
Good for him.
Nice reference to Tim Russ in Spaceballs.
now he is Hairdressing the Desert lol.
im guessing that the whole "optimized for the treats out there" had to be rather extensive considering the ship was once nearly destroyed by cheese
This was a really creative mission. Some real cool twists and what not.
the delta quadrant, to quote a highly resected if somewhat dower figure from a few universes over whos feelings are no doubt shared by anyone whom vists this, the arm pit of the galaxy. "WHY DO PEOPLE LIVE HERE?" Covrus Corax primach of the raven guard.
*Squawks in Raven Guard*
Hey it's not _that_ bad. It doesn't have toads that combust with hiroshima-sized mushroom clouds of poison. Or Orks.
*Quickly looks around in a fit of **_perfectly justified_** paranoia to make sure there aren't any purple Orks sneaking about.*
@@internetzenmaster8952 _'Ey 'dere, Hoomie!_

"Took a long time for me to be promoted! The Ferenghi kid was promoted above me!"
Tuvok's thoughtfulness and calm demeanor is always so reassuring.
So logical that on Voyager he's probably my favorite officer. Every time he's around you know there's something thoughtful coming up. I'm glad he's reached such heights in his career...
Mind phasers is my Favorited phrase now
The trippiest mission of all time....
Hey, I like the new Odyssey uniform!
I usually like my captains to have one "regular" uniform (for use whenever not in the field) and a "field uniform" (I think you can guess the purpose). That way I can look all sleek and cool on starbases, and have all manner of armour and pouches in the ground adventure zones ;-)
There actually is a duty version of the Odyssey uniform, although I can't recall at the moment what the tailor calls it. Pouches, pockets, and overall a more utilitarian look than the standard shipboard outfit.
@@DeaconBlues117 As far as I know, you can only get that if you are in a fleet with a fleet tailor, which I'm not.
As someone who practices lu id dreaming, I really enjoyed this episode. Recognizing things being out of places as a clue that you’re dreaming is something I regularly train myself to do. Also, things happening in dreams based on the dreamer’s expectations is accurate.
For a minute I thought I was watching spacedock
I enjoy this video trying watch all the chapters
I wish they added small lines like "sir" or the ranks to voice actor lines. I'd love to hear someone call me "Admiral" Instead of it being just in text.
32:01 I wouldn't count on the manual release working. Voyager's such a broken ship that the manual override doesn't work when the power goes out. That was a thing that really happened in the show. It was the episode where Neelix's cheese almost destroyed the ship. As if the thing with the manual override wasn't silly enough.
I like the idea of 'Vulcan sand.' Vulkans might find the idea of nostalgia 'too illogical.' However physical reminders of home and epsecially given Vulcan's links to the home soil it does make sense if that little piece of home does offer a meditative aid or other concentration focus.
Hey he may have wanted to comb the desert.
Let's let Tuvok poke us in the eye.
Good job picking up that the uniforms were Voyager-era, even on VanZyl. I missed that, but since I have the Pavan Crystals, I always put them down everywhere I go in the hopes I won't get KO'd during a cutscene.
As always Rick, you always make each and every gameplay videos fully entertaining and enjoyable..👍👍
I am honestly amazed they got Garret Wong to come back to this franchise after the experience he had making Voyager.
Meh
23:33 " This isn't good Voyager seems to be immersed in what appears to be Piss.
Oh wow, that older model of Seven looks rough, glad they fixed her recently, face and hair are much closer and she's in a different catsuit.
Though I still think I prefer this older model to the out of character version they added from Picard for the Measure of Morality missions.
I kept hoping they would encounter Lon Suder and garner his help. I feel it's tragic they didn't include him. It could've been AMAZING.
Always Descale your Herring
I can not beat this mission! The damn ship in fluidic space heals faster than I can destroy it
Awesome opening credits section!
LOL pocket Tuvok. Gold!
OMG that mindmeld! a finger in the eyes and everything!
Story Arc Intro: Nice throwback to Voyager Season 1.
14:10 lol Tuvok poked u in the eye for the "meld"
We need an animated version of this mission but it's in the style of psychonauts.
One of My favorite episode formats.
I always thought they should have used Lon Suder, the Maqui psychopath, instead of 7 of 9. Tuvok melded with him too, and he once rescued the ship from Kazon pirates. As one of the most dangerous mind Tuvok ever touched he’d have been a formidable opponent for the Undine.
This is delightful! I love how this mission is a thinly veiled excuse for Voyager fanservice.
Fantastische serie
The saddest thing about the Delta Rising expansion was the absolute best mission was the first. Each going progressively downhill from here, finally ending with Harry Kim. Oh so much Harry Kim. 2 Kim’s 2 Much.
30:36 answer: I ain't afraid of no ghost!
lol HAHA Pocket Tuvok XD
Interesting enough if you go in as a Vulcan or Betazed, Tuvok has different lines for the meld.
Rasolisu What are the changes?
Yes, do tell.😮
Cool use of the DR opening in your OP, Rick. I take it that's gonna be constant in this arc?
I recently replayed this arc with my Romulan alt and I forgot how annoying it is to fight the vaadwaur, that cannon barrage thing they do is devastating, even to my far tankier main character.
Annoying asf
Not as bad as the Tzenkethi though or Hurq though.
Or the newest enemies.
I would love to play STO again but it's been many years and wouldn't know where to start
Same, feels a bit overwhelming with so much to do really. Only thing that bugs me though is the poor quality of the lip syncing from the characters.
@@anarchyantz1564 Best to just ignore the lipsyncing. After all. It is a F2P MMO. Not some High-Quality Triple-a Microtransion Pay-2-Win MMO. Sure STO has a store but the ships have little buffs that give an edge but only get exploitable if you are one of those math wizards and stat nazis.
That being written. Best place to start to get back into the game. Do the Story Missions. Just do all of the seasons. Do that and get through them. You will get an idea of what to do. Where to go. And even maybe a little idea of what will happen next.
That is what I do after taking a break from the game. I play a Federation Engineer that is maxed out level and I love my Jupiter-Class ship, USS Calamity. She ain't a powerhouse but she can take a beating and hit it where it counts. Playing that same character for...oh...5+ years now? Off and On. Love them =3
And what's best if you had a character to reach 65, you can start any story arc, save the Breen, Devidan, and The 2400 FE arcs, at any time.
Just one step at a time. There is also a great facebook group (just star trek online) thats always can help if you need. Super helpful and very active but its a fan group.
There's an official forum, with people who are happy to help with any issues. Personally, if it's been years, I'd advise starting a new character from the beginning, so you can familiarize yourself with the new systems. Also, one recent change is the new T6 leveling system; if you have a Tier 6 ship on your account, your character can use it when you finish the tutorial (for a Romulan or Jem'Hadar toon, as soon as you pick a faction to associate with). Some of its capabilities will be locked out until you reach appropriate levels, but you can fly her for your entire career. (Currently, for example, Lt. Sabak commands the Sommerville-class USS Panther Modern; can't use all the weapon slots yet, or gain ship mastery, but she still packs her battle cloak, Intel abilities, and mycelial trail.)
34:56 that Benzite in the bottom right corner has a breathing apparatus like in TNG, but didn’t Benzites by the time of DS9 not need them anymore (Hoya in “The Ship” didn’t have one)? OMG Tuvok is still dreaming!!!!!!
Star Trek: Inception
I can't be the only person who thought "The enemy's gate is down." When he was talking about up and down. 2:35
When Tuvok asks for a Mind Meld you say, “yes Sir!”
Fun and creative mission.
Finally, Mark Hale got the Odyssey Uniform....
...speaking of which, i's wearing the DS9 2370's command uniform as i'm writing this. lol.
Most of my officers wear 7 of 9 costumes with gear as combat gear.
Great vid Rik! Thank you!
Great job! I love it !Thank you!
I'm going to add a little thing in here if your fine with that.
Captain Mark Hale alongside Seven of Nine came across a Romulan sitting against one of the walls of the Voyager, upon further inspection it could be seen that her ears were plastic... Most likely to hide something.
She was wearing a Starfleet science officer uniform, but Seven of Nine already knew who this was
Seven: "Kahina?"
Kahina: **Her head jolted up and looked around and then spotted Seven.**
"Seven!"
Seven: *She helped her up, Captain Hale could see a locket around her neck.*
Tuvok: "Kahina, Can you hear me?"
Kahina: "Yes, Who is this? Where am I? Where's my parents and Nola?!"
Tuvok: "You are in my mindscape, Species 8472 is attempting to break my mind. I need you and Seven to assist this Captain in finding my mental self that is trapped in the ready room."
Kahina: "I... Ok, I trust you Tuvok."
The Three progressed until they came across the 'Ghosts' of the Borg... After incapacitating them they saw Kahina kneeling above 3 Romulans, 2 adults, Male and Female, and 1 Teenager, Female.
She was in a state of shock, The two adults had a resemblance to her especially the woman, They were her parents... So that must mean the other woman is her sister, Nola.
Seven: "Kahina?"
*Kahina was slowly starting to cry.*
Kahina: "Why? Why couldn't they be saved?"
Seven: *She placed a hand on her.*
"We tried Kahina, we really did, They rejected the treatment... There was nothing we could do, I'm sorry."
Kahina: *She wiped away her tears and then said some comforting and remorseful words in Romulan.*
Hale: "What happened to her?"
Tuvok: "She lost her entire family to the Borg. She inadvertently caused them to head towards the direction of a Bord sphere in order to reach their destination quickly which lead to them being assimilated. She was recovered alongside her family but only she was able to recover. The rest of her family went insane and we were forced to kill them.
She understood the situation but nevertheless kept to herself except when necessary, She managed to remember her name and somehow kept a locket from before she was assimilated. Her and Seven of Nine have been fast friends due to their shared experience."
With that information Captain Hale managed to help her deal with her grief and continued the mission, after leaving Tuvok's mind he remembered a Romulan going by that name during the Defense of Qro'nos, A Admiral Kahina of the R.R.W. Raptor Star, A Scimitar-class Warbird that has been modified extensively in order to keep up with today's foes.
Done.
Feedback is welcome, and if you liked it you're more than welcome to let me know.
Are you gonna do a vid on "Hearts and Minds" at some point?
I am disappointed that Suder did not appear in Tuvok's mindscape.
He never went to the Brig.
umm… as an temporal Agent,is a mindmelt with someone who isnt one himself really that great of an idea?
Tuvok is letting the player in. It's not a two-way mindmeld usually implemented but the same kind of mindmeld usually used for curing forceful mental incursions like T'pol and Tuvok have suffered.
I feel like Delta Rising gets forgotten by the playerbase but I loved it. The writers clearly gave a shit and it was a great love-letter to Voyager.
at the same time in 2375 The Enterprise was dealing with Sona while the Dominion war was going on.
If the ready room reflected the captain, why didnt janeway have a coffee machine?
A coffee lover would want some sort of tradition when it comes to their coffee
I can just picture her standing behind a replicated professional espresso machine listening to briefings.
Hmm the EMH must be the one from that episode where he was umm. Working on 7. Creepzilla.
um how do you remove the consoles (controls and aesthetic) in sector space? i just want to observe my ship travelling without those...
Hmmm... Klingon and Bajoran... Yeah, I can see that!
I thought Voyager was a museum?
I believe that was the voyager from admiral Janeway's alternate future that she spoke of :)
"Voyager IS a museum" - admiral Janeway, episode: "Endgame"
I've played the recent updated Federation prologue to STO, where it removed the Klingons from the training cruise and the Borg are the only enemy, but you team up with Captain Nog and Admiral Janeway. Janeway is in command of Voyager during rescue of the USS Khitomer and the evacuation of Vega Colony. So my Question is, does Tuvok currently have command of Voyager during Delta Rising or does Janeway? Given recent changes to the game in current year, and as I haven't gotten this far in the storyline yet, I'm generally curious
And how will thing further change now with the introduction of the Voyager-A from Star Trek: Prodigy season 2 in future updates?
Burgess looks human, but he speaks like an alien. :-O
0:48 I'm pretty sure this Bald piece of man awesome on the left is me
Alright, why's your phaser firing Antiproton?
What ever happened to the Undine, anyway?
And what ever happened to this 'Undine War' I kept hearing about in the tie in book 'The Needs of the Many'?
I wish I could do this story line but my maxed out galaxy class refit is to weak.
Another recent change: Replace Commander Ethan Burgess with Admiral Kathryn Janeway. Probably a better change considering her personal connections to this region of space.
What are the specs of THIS uniform? (The one from the intro)
the Delta quadrant is the best
Great job, but did you really have to shoot poor ensign kim?
I find it interesting both the Romulan & Klingon Intel specialists are women with visors for eyesight restoration.
6:58 WTF Gundum?!
How do you even go about making a Dyson sphere
What is the name of the music around 08:08?
Wait episode 47? What happened to episodes 1-46?
I have to ask, is the ship your using tier 6 or are you just using the same old ship?
Klingon inteligence interesthing.
Living and learning I guess................
I wasn't aware they were intelligent enough to have a useful *intelligence agency* to be honest.
Was somebody just walking on the ceiling then fall to the floor and walk-off.
Turkey done that was great
is this the armoured voyager? or do i have to wait?
Are you using a t6 ship anytime soon?
Wouldn't we need Seven's memory of Voyager? She is the one with an Eidetic Memory after all and Tuvok suffered from a rare neurological disorder.
Those are the Borg shadows.
Wait why is 8742 here. Are they enemy? Last I checked from voyager they left as friends.
#BlameCooper.
Those ghosts are creepy as shit
Is the brick wall a TNG reference?
Pocket + Tuvok =TupoC..
Should have Tapped your hand 3 times just in case :)
The deltan chapter is the longest and most anoying in the game. Seriously, the vowaur can 1 shot you
Only if you dont understand how the game works with specific damage and defense you need depending on what faction you are fighting or it will be hard as nails
@@umadbroimatroll7918 the first vaduwaar ship you mert is actually buffed, I think, as it' s the only one I ever struggle with
The first time you run into Vaadwaur its buffed up so you always have a tough time with it, after that time they are more normal although their mine launchers can still hurt a LOT if you don't evasive out of the way.
@@Rasolisu you forgot the tricobalt torpedo, it allways aim to your rear or the weakest point of your shield. And the anchor mines
@@Rasolisu yeah, that' s what I meant to say, tho you know, in an escort it ain' t easy even later, I found: it became easy once I run trought it with my ENG toon, tho, but maybe I just got better at the game amd at building
cooper ha
If Burgess is from London then I'm the Emperor of Rome.
I guess now I know why the actor is trying so hard (and horribly) to force an "english" sounding accent.
