- También llamada 'Господи По милу J'' ('Góspodi pamílui) (Señor, ten piedad) por su estribillo. Poema del hieromonk (monje y sacerdote) Roman. Su nombre civil es Alexander Matyushin (Александр Матюшин)Poeta con una obra asombrosa en su diversidad: baladas históricas, parábolas, dibujos psicológicos de la vida y reflexiones filosóficas vestidas de rima, líricas enojadas de civiles, y generalizaciones simbólicas y recuerdos, recuerdos muy personales.
Viktor Zajárchenko y el Coro de los cosacos del Kubán cuentan con la voz extraordinaria de una de sus grandes solistas: Natalia Gubá.
La transliteración está adaptada al castellano.Su prioridad es hacer sencillo el sonido de la canción. La letra ''j'' representa a la j de Juan, hijo, gente. La letra rusa para ese sonido es X. Христос /jristós/ (Cristo), Хор /jor/ (coro)´. Sh- representa el sonido de: she, show, fish. En ruso la letra es Ш. El símbolo ʒ es el usado en el Alfabeto Fonético Internacional para el sonido (que no existe en castellano) de: Jean, Juliette, je, jolie, journal,…João, Janeiro, jogar... similar a la “ll” de Buenos Aires en “calláte”, “lleno”, “pollo”. En ruso corresponde a la letra Ж. El sonido /v/ es una uve labiodental; en ruso es la letra в. El sonido /z/ una 's' en que vibran las cuerdas vocales, como cuando imitamos un zumbido de abeja.corresponde a la letra rusa з, como en 'звон' /zvón/ (repique, tañido, sonido de campana).

I translate songs whose melody I like. Many times I do not share the beliefs or feelings that these ''naródniki'' lyrics represent. Don´t get me wrong: I 'm a listener that translates, without a bias, songs, etc. into other languages, mainly Spanish and English. And that's my main goal: make available diverse information and content to people who understand these languages.

Yes. Her voice is beautiful, and also her face. But The whole (song, singer and voice) is what I liked the most. Praising her beauty and talent...well... maybe it is somehow contradicting the aim and content of the song. I like the song, her voice and the poem.

No obstante, mi experiencia personal es que cuando oigo canción, letras , melodía y veo la expresión de la solista...tengo que atender a demasiado contenido y me pierdo algo. Por tanto, la mitad de las veces prefiero escuchar canción y letra sin ver el escenario. Aprecio mejor la experiencia; puedo concentrarme en las imágenes sugeridas por la letra (y que mi mente recrea) y la melodía acompaña sobrecargar los sentidos. Otras veces, veo el escenario y la interpretación de solista y coro centrándome en voz, música y rostros de solista y el coro.

Very few people can tell the difference between speaking a language and translating. It happened to me and had to find it later. First, as undergraduate I studied a foreign language. Then I had had to go back and learn to translate, majoring in mother tongue-foreign language.
Imagine you are watching NBC news; listening to a song; watching a movie; reading a novel; attending a conference or a lecture…..You yourself understand the meaning and enjoy it or learn from it…
...But, then, someone asks you to explain it to them in their own language: from a document, listening; with time enough to do it or just at the same time they are listening: like at any UN conference or an interview with a rockstar …
That’s tough work; and you get paid for it. Very few translators get a life from lyrics, literature, movies….
Usually a translator- interpreter’s job is about law and business: contracts, legal documents of all kinds, business letters, technical stuff, scientific issues….
....That work is no fun; not even amusing. It involves getting to know the matter you are dealing with…
Nobody volunteers to translate a legal procedure. But there’s always a relative, neighbour, friendo or acquaintance that asks you to work …for free, of course. It´s quite embarrassing to tell them: call an agency and find about their tariffs… If they do, they get stunned by the charges: for most people, translating is not work at all, just a hobby.
The same happens to doctors: everybody around expect them to get a diagnosis, treatment, a consultation …for free and right there, on the spot: while sharing a meal, a drink, at a wedding, a birthday party…
It takes a lot t oba a specialized physician. The same applies to getting a degree in translation and then a life from it.

De unos versos compuestos con gran destreza poética unidos a una música ideal para la expresión de un sentimiento individual, de comunidad y de esperanza frente a la adversidad.
Muy típico del misticismo ortodoxo y la idea (eslavófila) de nación como comunidad de gente que comparte valores ancestrales de colectividad y deja al individuo en un segundo lugar.
A pesar de su mensaje nacionalista y religioso, el conjunto (versos, música e interpretación) resulta muy atrayente.

Por ende, un traductor y/o intérprete, además de contar con lo anterior, ha de ser objetivo, breve, intuitivo. Su trabajo es la capacidad de ser entendido con claridad.
Por eso, análisis y traducción están unidos.
