I work at Nichols Portland in primaries where we use large compact presses to press metal powder into a part (gerotor outer or inner piece), then harden and primary size them in a sinter furnace. After that they normally go on a sizing press then to secondaries to get finish worked, cleaned, and packed. We also make other parts besides gerotors like transnission gears for GM, Ford, etc.
