I always enjoy your videos Jim! They certainly don’t all have to be about woodworking. Variety is nice. Enjoy biking with your family. Very beautiful country where you live. Include the dog whenever you can!

I checked you out after the interview with Eric and was trying to put you on the map. As soon as you said blue ridge I knew my suspicions were correct. I think you pushed me over the edge of building a lathe. Your design video may be what I needed. Interesting content. I subscribed.

You're one of thos multi-talented and well-rounded folks on RUclips. I'm amazed you get so much done - and expertly - including an acoustic guitar build, which is way over my head. Great to see you have some fun!

So cool! I am 68 years old and the two hobbies I have loved all my life are cycling and woodworking. I am happy for you that you have the land where you can have such a nice trail. I have always been a road biker but as the years have gone by, it gets more and more terrifying (for me at least) to ride the roads even though I love the long rides. There is so much phone use by drivers and it seems folks are driving ever faster on the remote country roads with greater animosity towards cyclists. Several of my cycling friends have been hit by cars and tragically some have died. I am mostly riding in my neighborhood these days and still love being on a bike but miss the open road. You have a beautiful family and they obviously have a great dad and we need great dads.

We gonna see the return of Air Jim and build any jumps? How about a video trip to Carriage Hills to see you riding down the hill backwards again.

    What!?!? No woodworking?!
I think it's great to see other things. Especially to see your family involved. Keep up the great content.
I can't speak for everyone, but I'm more likely to keep watching someone, like you, that I feel I can relate to or understand better the more I know about them.

Well done Jim and Crew. It’s always nice to take a break from something. I did from RUclips and internet to get a little fishing done before hunting season. Thank you

Where did you go to school? I lived in the SW Virginia area for a lot of years and spent many hours racing up and down the Blue Ridge Mountains. Still miss it to this day.

Really nice, man! Have fun there!!! 😃
Which drone did you use for the aerial footage? Do you know about FPV? It's a pretty fantastic and freeing hobby as well! 😊
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

That’s awesome Jim! My family and I enjoy riding bikes too! And I am into the woodworking business myself. Glad to hear you guys are enjoying a home built trail! Keep up the good work!

@@lastingbuild1373 oh yeah! That would be cool! I’ve seen people and I have myself, added rock clusters to give a “power cycle” obstacle. Just lay 2” to 3” rocks over the trail for 10’-20’ so that the trail has a little bit of difficulty. Not too much, but just enough. I did that with gravel, for my trail, and now they’re embedded in the dirt so it’s just a little rumble strip, and you have to get up on your feet, and not ride on your behind. I have 3 sections like that. It’s given the kiddos good training for when they want to go on the trails in the mountains.

I always crack up when I see thumbs down. What would be a reason someone would thumb down a video like this? Enjoy the time away from the shop and family time. Be well.

My bike is 12 years old! Dual suspension mountain bike. The company who built it folded 10 years ago.
